Chapter 6 - Trust Me

*Lilith*

"Think they'll be there?"

"They better be because I don't have time chasing around little kids all day"

"When do you ever have time to do anything?"

"When do you ever shut the hell up?" Raymond groaned.

"Hey Lily, what about you? Think your girl is there~?"

I looked at him to see him smirking at me. Maybe, though she wouldn't want to see me anyway. I turned away from him, "Damn, my bad, I forgot she left your ass" he chuckled.

"Leave her alone" I heard Jamie say beside me. I smiled a bit and squeezed his hand a bit.

"I thought you were on my side girl, oh wait, dude" My head snapped up to him, and without thinking I pushed him, "Hey what the hell!?" He exclaimed.

I moved close to his ear, "You know he's sensitive to that shit, so I recommend shutting the fuck up" I whispered.

"Jeez, can't you take a joke? Ever since Sarah left you've been the one being sensitive about everything"

I clenched my fist and was ready to punch him in his jaw until...

"How about both of y'all shut the fuck up!?" Raymond yelled making both of us stop. He sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose, "Look, we're getting close. Harry stop messing around and Lilith you..." he turned towards me, but just scoffed before turning back around to continue walking.

Harry rolled his eyes and followed Raymond. I was about to do the same until I saw Jamie fiddling with his fingers, "You alright?" I asked crouching down to his level.

He nodded but remained silent. I stood up and sighed. Just do your job and it'll be over.

Suddenly I heard a gunshot go off. I quickly ran to see what it was and saw Harry and Ray staring at... Luna. I peeked through the bushes and saw Pete standing in front of her.

"Glad to see you guys are back!" Harry grinned.

My eyes instantly fell on Sarah who rushed out of the building. She... joined them? I looked at Jamie who was next to me and back to Sarah, "Damnit!" I cursed under my breath, "Jamie, I need you to hide somewhere"

"What are you about to do?"

"Just hide okay, I'll tell you when to come out," I told him to which he nodded. I pulled out my knife and turned back to the group.

"Fuck this!" Ray shouted, pulling his trigger.

Make a move Lilith...

*Luna*

"Pete!" I pushed him out of the way and ducked behind some boxes we packed.

"Shit!" I quickly turned to Sarah who was on the ground. She had her hand on her leg which was slowly bleeding out.

"Pete, cover me!" I told him to which he nodded.

As soon as I heard him fire back at the raiders I ran over to Sarah and wrapped my arm around her waist, "I gotcha," I said while lifting her.

She hissed as she stood up on her leg. I wrapped her arm around my neck and began shuffling her toward the building.

Steph quickly opened the door, "Come on hurry up!" She yelled.

I tried to quicken my pace but was knocked to the ground by something hard hitting my back. Sarah fell, but Steph rushed over to her and started helping her into the building.
