Chapter 1

Ashtyn pov
It was a normal Friday evening making my way home from a long day at work. When I stopped at one of the local gas stations to fill up my Jeep. I parked my car in front of the pump and turned it off before getting out.
I made my way inside the store, getting a bottle of water and making my way to the checkout, paying for the gas at the pump, when I noticed that the amount for tonight's lottery and my eyes widened and my jaw dropped.

"I would like one of those lottery tickets please " I told the clerk who smiled and nodded before going and printing off a ticket then handed it to me.
"Good luck " the clerk said softly
"Thank you, have a good night " I replied before making my way back out to my Jeep and filled it up before getting in and heading home.
10 minutes later
I pulled into the driveway and put my Jeep in park before grabbing my stuff and locking the doors before making my way into the house
I unlocked the front door and made my way inside, shutting the door behind me before plopping onto the couch, letting out a sigh just as I hear the sound of pattering feet,my dog Karma came barreling into the room tail wagging and making her way over to me.

I let out a chuckle as I gave her head and rump scratches before patting a place on the couch.
Karma jumped up on the couch and laid down as I turned the tv onto the lottery channel. Patting her head I pulled out my phone,to find messages from some of my friends in one of my groups chats.

Ash - I am doing good Court , just sitting on the couch, watching some TV with Karma and waiting for the lottery to draw
Court - Why you waiting on the lottery draw?
Dani - Aww thats nice
Ash- Cause I bought a ticket since a chance to win 21 billion dollars
Whole group - Oh and damn thats a lot of money
I look up from my phone to the TV I see the draw is on.
So I pulled out my ticket as the balls are drawn
The Host "And the 8 winning numbers are , 28,32,31,18,21,6,56,24"
I was going over each number that was called out as my eyes widen before quickly calling the lottery studio "Hi I have the winning ticket" I said into the phone as I give out each number that was called "
"Congratulations on winning 21 billion dollars what is your name and where are you from" the other person asked
I gave my name and where I am from "Okay thank you, miss Ashtyn please come by the studio tomorrow to collect your money" and the call ended
After finally getting over the shock of winning 21 billion dollars.
I sent a message to the group chat
