Chapter 3

The Next Day
I woke up to karma jumping onto the bed, I let out a groan before sitting up and patting her on the head and smiled.
"Good morning Karma. Today's the day "
I got out of bed with Karma following me, her paws padding after as I made my way downstairs to open the back patio door and let Karma outside into the backyard to have her time.I made my way back up the stairs to get ready for the day.

I walked over to my closet and picked out my outfit for the day. Before making my way into the bathroom to take a shower and get ready.
20 minutes later
I walked out of the bathroom dressed and ready for the day.
I walk back down stairs and let Karma back into the house before I filled up her food and water bowls to eat real quick while I go and grab my bag , phone, and keys. Along with Karma's vest and leash
I walked back into the entryway to find Karma already waiting on me at the door. I smiled as I put Karma's vest on her and clipped her leash to her collar before we made our way out the door locking it behind us.
I made my way over to my jeep and opened the back door letting Karma in before shutting the door and getting in then starting my jeep and making my way to the lottery headquarters here in Florida.
After a 45 minute drive I pulled into the headquarters and parked my Jeep then got out with Karma.
I made my way into the building and i walked up to the Reception desk
"Hello, how may I help you?" the lady behind the desk asked
"Hello Lily. My name is Ashtyn I'm the winner of last night's draw of the 21 billion dollars" I said to her
Her eyes widen "Oh yes, right of course" she said as she makes the call to her boss,  speaking to him for a moment before hanging up "They will be right down so they can take you to get your cheque and a picture "
I nodded as I went and took a seat to wait. Five minutes later a guy walked in "Ashtyn?" He called
I stood up and made my way over with Karma, he smiled "Hi, I'm Max, please follow me. Congratulations on your win" he said and I followed him through the building .
We walked into another room where there was a big cheque sitting on a stand. He walked over and picked it up before handing it to me  "Here you go and let's get your picture. We also need a statement on how you became our lucky winner!" Max said
I took the cheque and smiled as the photographer took the picture "Great! Congratulations again, a copy of the photo should be at the desk ready for you when you leave"  the photographer said as they left
"Thank you and I will pick it up for sure," I said with a smile.
After that the interview began and I told my story, then I left with Karma. I grabbed my cheque and picked up my photo from the front desk as I made my way out the doors.
I got into my jeep and took a picture of the photo to send it to the group chat before I started my vehicle and pulled out making my way to the bank.
