Later that night, Egon was scraping at the door with his hands as he tried to escape. Finally, he pushed the door open, and he crawled his way out. he then ran upstairs, and went into Back to Front and Claude's bedroom. he started whimpering as Claude woke up, and said "Back to Front, dear." Back to Front groaned as Egon continued to howl and whimper at him and his husband. "Aw, Back to Front" Claude said. Back to Front woke up, looked at Egon, and said "Hmm? What? What? Oh!" He yawned, and said "Oh all right. But, remember, just for tonight." Egon smiled, and jumped on the foot of the bed. he then settled down, and fell asleep as Back to Front covered him with a small blue blanket. As the years passed, Egon had already become a full-grown Ghostbuster. One early Sunday morning, Egon woke up, smiled, and started waking up his owners. Back to Front started to wake up as he yawned, and said "All right, Egon. All right. I'm up. I'm up." He started to get up, but he fell back on the bed as he said "Oh no!" "What's wrong, Back to Front?" Claude asked. "What is it?" "Can't you explain to Egon about Sundays?" Back to Front asked.
Egon then ran out of the bedroom, and went down the stairs. he ran through the kitchen, and went out the door. he went into the backyard, and barked at the birds, scaring them away in the process. As he ran off, the birds came back. he then found a bone near the tulips growing in the garden. he dug a hole in the garden, put the bone inside it, and placed the dirt back on top. he then placed the pink tulip on top. he started to walk back to the house, but then, he spotted A Mean Lion named Kovu underneath a pile of firewood. he growled, and ran after Kovu as he Yelled. The Lion went out the hole of the fence, and went into a barrel nearby the fence on the other side of the street. Egon started to dig a hole to get to the other side, but then he heard the sound of a bicycle bell ringing. he smiled, and ran out into the front yard to see Perfect Peter riding a bicycle, and tossing newspapers to houses. peter tossed the newspaper to Egon, and he caught it in his mouth. he then ran to the backyard door, and went through the door, ripping the front page of the newspaper in the process.
Later on in the kitchen, Back to Front, Claude, and Egon Spengler were having breakfast. "Have you noticed, Claude, that since we had Egon, we've seen less and less of those disturbing headlines?" Back to Front asked as he read the newspaper despite the fact that it had a enormous hole in the middle. As Claude poured some tea in his husbands cup, he said "Yes. I just don't know how we ever got along without him." Back to Front then poured tea onto Egon's saucer as Claude gave him a doughnut. As Egon dipped the doughnut in tea, and ate it, Back to Front said "Say, he must be about six months old. We'd better be getting him a license." The next day, a package arrived at the Hook and Ladder 8 Firehouse. Claude opened it to reveal a Teal Necklace with Pink Beads and The Ghostbusters Logo on it with a gold tag with Egon's name written on it. "Hope it fits." Claude said as he gently placed the Necklace around Egon's neck. "My, but it does look nice." Then, he held up a mirror with his Hand, and Egon smiled as his owner said "So grown up. Won't Walter Peck, and Fowler be surprised?" Egon then ran out the door to see his friends and neighbors.
