As Rick Blaine approached the wagon, he whispered out "Hey, psst. Psst!" Louis Tully looked down at Rick, and laughed as he said "Blimey. Look Gilderoy. It's Rick!" Rick shushed him as Gilderoy Lockhart said "Hiya, handsome. Come to join the party?" "All right, all right." Rick said. "No time for wisecracks. I've got to get you out!" As he removed the lock with his nose, he said "I'm telling you, the pressure's really hot. Signs all over the town." Once the lock was removed, the door opened as Gilderoy said "Gee, thanks. "You're a bit of all right, chum." Louis said. "Okay, okay, get going!" Rick said. "Hey, what's going on over there?!" Justin asked as he heard the noise. Rick gasped as he said "Scram! And be careful!" He hid under the wagon as Louis and Gilderoy ran off. As Justin ran by, Rick caught him by his Butt as he said "What-! You mangy Man! Hey, let go! Let go of me!" Rick yelled "Yeehaw" as he ran, and Justin chased after him. They jumped multiple times over a small fence, and Elusive ran off. He hid behind a garden door, and Justin ran by.

Once Rick lost Justin, he looked around as he said "Well, snob hill, ha." He then drank the water from a small fountain as he looked at two pigeons, and said "Hi, gals. How's pickings?" As the pigeons flew away, he said "Pretty slim, eh?" He walked away as he said "Yeah. I'll bet they've got a lid on every trash can. He then noticed small fences surrounding trees as he said "Uh oh. And a fence around every tree. I wonder what the leash and Necklace set does for excitement." On the other side, Walter Peck and Fowler were walking up to the Hook and Ladder 8 firehouse as Walter said "Egon! Egon!" "Oh Mister Egon, Sir! Mister Egon!" Fowler said. As they entered the backyard, they found Egon Spengler sitting in the shade as Walter said "Ah, good morning, Egon! Tis a bony, beauitful, bright day, uh, today." They then noticed the very sad look on Egon's face as Fowler said "Why, mister Egon, is something wrong?" "Yes, tell us, Egon." Walter said. "If somebody's been mistreating you!" "Oh no, Walter." Egon said. "It's something I've done, I guess." "You?" Fowler asked. "It must be." Egon said. "Back To Front and Claude are acting so-." he lost his train of thought as they looked up at Claude putting a flower pot on the window while humming a tune. "Back To Front and Claude?" Fowler asked. "Hush, Fowler!" Walter said as they went near the greenhouse. "Now, Egon, get on with the details." "Well, I first noticed it the other day when Back To Front came home." Egon said.

-Flashback-

In the living room, Rarity was looking out the window. When he saw Back to Front coming home, he barked happily, and ran out to greet him. he jumped in front of him as he said "Down, Egon, down!" This surprised Egon because Back to Front would normally pet him. he ran up in front of him, hoping he would give him a treat, but he just ran past him as he went into the house, and said "Claude? Claude? Are you all right?" As Egon ran to the backyard, and went through the door into the house, Claude said "Of course I am. Why shouldn't I be?" "I just can't help worrying." Back to Front said. "After all, in your condition, alone here all day walking that toon." When Egon heard those last two words, he gasped in shock.

-End Flashback-

"That Toon?" Walter asked. "That toon." Fowler said. "He's never called me that before." Egon said. "Well, now, Egon." Walter said. "I wouldn't worry my small head about that. Remember, they're only toons after all." "That's right, mister Egon." Fowler said. "As my grandfather, Reginald Smith used to say...don't recollect if Ah've ever mentioned Reginald Smith before." "Yes, you have, Fowler." Walter said. "Frequently." "Oh, yeah." Fowler said. "But, now, Claude is." Egon said. "Well, we've always enjoyed our afternoon romp together. But, yesterday."

-Flashback-

In the living room, Egon was walking up to Claude who was sitting in a rocking chair, knitting socks made for Feet, and humming a tune while holding a leash in his mouth as he barked. he then placed the leach near his Hands as he barked. he moved to the small table near him as he said "No, Egon. No walk today." Egon frown, but then got a small green ball with a blue stripe on it, and went up to Claude as he barked. he placed the ball near his Hands. he placed the ball on the table as he said "No, Egon. Not now." Just then, the ball of yarn he was using dropped to the floor as Egon got an idea. he started playing with it as Claude said "Egon. Drop that, Egon." he then lightly hit him as he gasped in slight pain, and he said "Drop it, I say!"

-End Flashback-

"It didn't hurt, really." Egon said. "But, Claude has never struck me before." Walter and Fowler looked at each other, and they looked at Egon as Walter said "Now, Egon, don't take it too seriously. After all, at a time like this." "Why, yes, you see, mister Egon." Fowler said. "There comes a time in the life of all toons when, uh, well, as they put it, uh, the birds and the bees. Or, well, uh, the stork you know?" Egon shook his head no as Fowler said "Uh, no?" "What he's trying to say, Egon, is Claude is expecting a wee barin." "Barin?" Egon asked. "He means a baby, mister Egon." Fowler said. "Oh!" Egon said. "What's a baby?" As Rick walked by, he started to overhear the conversation, and Walter said "Well, they...they resemble toons." "But, Ah'd say a mite smaller." Fowler said. "Yes, and they walk on all fours." Walter said. "And if Ah remember correctly, they beller a lot." Fowler said. "Yes, and they are very expensive." Walter said. "You'll not be permitted to play with." "But, they're mighty sweet." Fowler said. "And very, very soft." Walter said.

Just then, Rick walked up to them, much to their surprise as he said "Yes, a cute little bundle." He chuckled, and said "Of trouble. Yes, they scratch, pinch, pull ears. Ah, but, shucks, any toon can take that. It's what they do to your happy home." He shoved Walter away as he said "Move it over, will you friend?" He looked at Egon as he said "Home wreckers! That's what they are!" Walter glared at Rick as he said "Look here, sir. Who are you to barge in?!" "The voice of experience, buster." Rick said. "Just wait till Junior gets here! You get the urge for a nice comfortable scratch, and-!" Talking in a female voice, he said "Put that toon out! He'll get fleas all over the baby!" In a normal voice, he said "You start Yelling at some strange toon." He yelled "Yeehaw" , and in a female voice, he said "Stop that racket! You'll wake the baby!" In the normal voice, he said "And then, they hit you in the room and board department. Remember those nice Meat? Forget them, Leftover baby food. And that nice warm bed by the fire? A leaky toonhouse."

Egon started to get worried as he said "Oh, dear." "Don't listen, Egon!" Walter said. "No toon is that cruel!" "Of course not, mister Egon ." Fowler said. "Why, everybody knows a toon's best friend is his human." Rick laughed hysterically as he said "Oh, come now, fellas. You haven't fallen for that old line now, have you?" "Yes!" Walter said. "And we've no need for mongrels, and their radical ideas! Off with you now! Off with you now! Off with you!" "Okay, Walter Deck." Rick Blaine said. "The name's Walter Peck!" Walter said. "Okay, Walter Peck." Rick said. "Head of the EPA to you!" Walter said. "Okay, okay, okay!" Rick said. "But remember this, pigeon, a human heart has only so much room for love and affection. When a baby moves in, the toon moves out." As he walked out, Egon Spengler began to feel astonished and worried at the same time.
