AFTER BRAIDING MY HAIR I gave a slight sigh, analyzing my clothes. As if I hadn't felt naked enough yesterday after my dress turned see though, now I was wearing the shortest shorts I'd ever worn. After unlocking the bathroom door, I headed with Annick towards the gym were PE class would occur.
We quickened our steps, trying to catch up, as we were late. We didn't want to attract attention when we entered, but with those shorts it would be impossible.
Unfortunately, our plan didn't work as all the boys' eyes were on us again. They were playing handball, apparently, and as everyone stopped, the ball thrown into the air hit Applebaum's head, causing a loud noise. So, the eyes that previously devoured Annick and I now looked worriedly at the thin blond lying on the floor. I chuckled at him, walking towards Michele and Simone.
"He can't be serious, a rope..?" I said confused, staring at the rope hanging from the ceiling. So they could play a sport while we had to climb this damn thing? Unfair.
Annick volunteered herself to be the first to climb the rope, and I was impressed by the fact that she could easily do even that.
After going downstairs, she informed me that she needed to use the bathroom. And only then did I notice that Michele and Simone were missing. I was left by myself, deciding to climb the rope as well, since Annick didn't make it seem difficult.
I could notice Descamps staring at my back as I climbed. Although it was surprisingly easy, I was aware that the scene was a little malicious, and knowing his dirty mind, I imagined the excited smirk on his face.
After climbing to the top, I didn't know how to make my way down, and in pure desperation, my hands slipped on the rope, and I fell heavily on my back.
The noise of my body hitting the ground was loud, and soon everyone was around me, staring. "She died?" I heard the worried voice of Lamaziere and soon after a light slap noise "Stop being an idiot, she might have just fainted". Letting out a grunt of pain, I slowly tried to get up, which was in vain. I soon felt Laubrac's sweaty hands helping me, so I thanked him with a grateful smile.
"Are you okay?" my PE teacher asked "My back hurts..." my complaint came out as a mumble, so the teacher looked around the gym, and with my eyes closed again I heard the older man's voice "Can you help her go to the infirmary?". When I noticed who my teacher was asking I denied in disbelief. I would never let Descamps carry me to the infirmary. "Can you help her?" he asked the boy again, who stared at me unbothered, not caring in the slightest about my well-being. Nodding, he placed my arm over his shoulder.

The walk to the infirmary was awkward and silent, and it felt like the time passed slowly. Randomly, Descamps stopped, taking my arms from around him, he was carrying me, so I almost fell again. He stared at me for a while until he made a curious question "Who was the boy you were talking to earlier?" His voice had a tone of jealousy, even though he tried to hide it with a disinterested look.
I started to think, confused "Sorry, who?" "I saw you talking to that boy from fifth year earlier. He is friends with the boy who blinded me" "Andre? Why do you care?" I was even more confused, what would he gain from this? "Wouldn't you rather call him to help you? I'm sure he'd love it." I was surprised by what he said, it had a sarcastic tone, but filled with jealousy. I just rolled my eyes "Is there anything nice that comes out of your mouth or do you always have to be an idiot?" This made him stay quiet, looking slightly hurt. So, we continued our walk to the infirmary.
