His Worst Nightmare

Chapter Five - Change Of Plan

Namjoon pov

I paced back and forth in my room as I thought about all that Jin said. I don't know what to do and I also can't get it off my mind

Maybe he is right, I really need to leave for a while and come back when this all dies out. And just to make sure Dad won't worry I will write him a letter before leaving

Sounds like a plan to me

I pulled out my phone and dialled Jin's number, he picked up almost immediately like he had been waiting for my call

"Have you made up your mind?" he asked

"yes, you are right I do need to get out of here before things get messy"

"you made the right choice babe," he said "Get ready cause we are leaving in two days"

"Two days? But that day is my engagement party with Jungkook," I said unsure cause there was no way I wouldn't be there if I was still here

"I know but that's when I will have everything ready for us to go and don't worry we will be gone before the engagement even starts" he assured me

"Promise?" I asked slightly scared of getting engaged to Jungkook, which meant I would be tied down to him and later get married

"I promise Joonie, don't worry yourself. We will be out of here by noon"

The next day after school, I quickly came out of my class  and headed knowing Jungkook was already waiting for me

Halfway through the hallway, I felt a grab on my wrist but before I could react to it, I was pulled into an empty classroom

I tried screaming for help but I was pressed against the wall and my mouth was covered

"It's okay Joonie, it's me" I looked up to see Jin looking at me while heavily, he had a little cut on his left cheek and it seemed to be fresh and a bit deep

He let go of me as I brought my hand up to feel it but he winced away

"What happened to you?"

"I was attacked by three faceless people but I managed to get away," he said. My eyes widen at that in shock

"How? Where? Are you okay?" I was worried out of my mind but glad that he wasn't hurt in any way

"I think Jungkook is behind this" he said but I shook it off

"What are you talking about, Jungkook won't do that and besides he has no reason to do that"

"Maybe one of the reasons for me being your boyfriend perhaps, or him not liking me," he said. I said nothing knowing it was true, that might be a reason. "I know he is possessive over you Joonie, so we have to leave as soon as possible before he finds out"

"what do you mean by leave as soon as possible?" I asked confused

"We have to leave tonight before he gets any clue of us running away"

"But I haven't prepared everything I'm taking with me nor neither have I started writing the note I want to leave for my Dad"

"I was attacked by unknown people and for an unknown reason so It's either we leave today or never get the chance to" he said causing me to feel emotional so I hugged him tightly while trying not to cry but failed, he hugged me back and patted my back in a comforting way

I will miss my Dad so much but this has to be done. I don't want to end up like him, getting married to someone I don't love just to please my family's wishes. I need to write my own story

Our emotional state was interrupted when my phone rang. I held it out to see if Jungkook was the caller. I slightly panicked cause I forgot about him picking me up. I immediately answered it

"H-hello-"

"Your class ended 20 minutes ago, where are you?" he demanded causing me to feel a bit weak in the knees

"I'm on my way"

"You have 30 seconds to get here Namjoon, I mean it or else I'm coming in there" he spat over the phone and ended the call

I looked over at Jin who wasn't ready to let me go but had no choice

"I will text you the time and place to keep you updated," he said before placing a kiss on my forehead and left the room

I left almost immediately and basically ran out of the building to the parking lot where Jungkook was impatiently waiting
