Today was the first day of school for Annie. Being homeschooled all her life, this certainly was going to be a new experience for her. Highschool is full of cliques, but Annie didn't exactly know which she belonged to.
It was currently lunch time, 12:35 PM. Annie was walking around the cafeteria looking for a place to sit. Nobody offered, so she had to go ask. The first table she went up to was full of girls. They were gorgeous, rich looking, and flawless.
"Hey girls, mind if I sit here?" Annie asked with a nervous smile.
The girls looked at her and then exchanged a glance with one another.
"Who even are you..?" One girl said. She had tan skin and dark brown hair, with a button nose. She was gorgeous. "To answer your question, no." She said, rolling her eyes.

Annie frowned and walked away. This was going to be much harder than she thought. Annie was a shy, timid girl, so making friends was going to be very difficult. She saw another table full of boys and girls. It seemed like a normal group.
"Anyone sitting here?" Annie asked as she placed her tray on the table and sat in the open seat.
"Uhhh, I don't think so." One guy responded, but immediately went back to chatting with others.
Annie sat in the seat. To her left was a girl with curly brown hair, very pale skin, blue eyes, and a athletic build.
"Who are you?" The girl asked.
"Annie." She replied.
The girl nodded. "Yea no clue who you are. I'm Reece."
Annie nodded. "Cool!"
Suddenly everyone at the table went silent and looked at Annie.
"Uh..what?" Annie asked confused.
A strong hand pulled her shoulder back and yanked her to the ground. Annie fell off the chair to see a boy hovering above her.
"Get out my seat, kid!" He yelled.
Annie got back up. "I'm so sorry! I was told nobody was sitting there!"
The boy rolled his eyes. "Mhm. Don't do it again or things can get messy." He mumbled.
Reece slapped the boys arm lightly. "Levi! Stop being mean to her. I think she's new!"
The boy looked back at Annie. "Nah."
Reece scooter over in her seat. "Here, we can share a stool."
" thank you, but don't worry about it. I'll find another place to go." She said quietly.
She'd only been at Sunview Highschool for like 4 hours and she'd already made an enemy. All because of a chair.
After realizing there was no seats for her, she only had one option. The bathroom. She carried her food into the bathroom. The floor looked absolutely disgusting, the room reeked with terrible smells, and to her surprise there were three girls in the corner.
The girls looked at Annie.
"I wouldn't bring your food in here if I were you, kiddo." The girl with straight short black hair died with pink streaks in it said. "Pretty unsanitary."
The girl was wearing her school uniform with fishnets underneath. She had black gloves with finger holes, and she had lots of nose piercings.
"Believe me, I really didn't want to eat in here. I don't have any other choice..I can't find a table to sit at." Annie said.
The girl smirked. "Well, I would offer you to sit with us, but I'm not sure a pretty girl like you will be able to handle my table." The girl said. "Im Addy, by the way."
"It's better than sitting in the toilet stalls.. and I'm Annie." She said.
"I'm Siena." Another girl said. Siena had light brown hair. She had braids that were braided into a braid. She was black, but had crystal blue eyes.
"Hi. You have really pretty eyes!" Annie said.
Siena rolled her eyes. "I know boo."
"And I'm Brielle." The other girl said. This girl had long straight blonde hair. She was tan but orange. Her eyes were green and her body was petite.
"Alright Annie, you sitting with us or nah? Just a heads up, everyone is either a junior or senior." Addy said.
"I guess so." Annie replied.
"Exciting." Addy smirked.
Once the four girls went to the table, everyone sat down. Annie sat beside Addy, but there was an empty seat next to her.
There were ten seats at the table. Only eight people were there. The other four were named Elijah, Izzy, Marco, and Ryder. Elijah was a rather tall dude, his hair was wavy and middle parted. He was very fit and had nice muscles. . Elijah looked nothing like the rest of the table. Everyone else looked..emo.. but Elijah looked normal. Somewhat even hot. He sat across from Annie.
"So, you're a freshmen huh? You are for sure gonna be out of this table in less than a week." He told Annie.
Annie laughed it off. "I don't know. I think everyone here is quite nice so far.."
Elijah smirked. "Yea that's what I thought too, now I'm always causing trouble and doing some bad stuff, man."
Addy made a face at him. "Oh shut up, stop scaring Annie ba-nannie."
Annie looked at addy with a weird look. "Please do not call me that."
"You did good pickin up this one, Addy. Finally someone that seems to be nice."
Annie smiled. "So uh, what's with all the fishnets and piercings?"
Addy exchanged a look with Elijah. " it's a style. Just like all these other tables are cliques, we are pretty much the outcasts. We are considered the "failures." Because all we do is party, drink, and slightly do crimes."
Annie was speechless. "Wait.. what? I don't know if—"
"Don't worry, we don't force people to do things. But don't blame me if someone at this table influences you." Addy said.
Elijah glared at addy. "To be honest, you probably shouldn't be sitting with us, since you are like ten."
Annie scoffed. "Okayyy I get it, I'm a freshman! I just need a place to sit at lunch. And for the record, I'm 15!"
Elijah grinned. "You are funny. I like this one, Addy."
Addy rolled her eyes. "Elijah, don't even think about it. She's too innocent for you."
"Just because I'm a freshmen doesn't mean I don't know what drinking and stuff like that is." Annie reminded.
Addy laughed. "That's not what I meant, at all—" she cut off her sentence. "Anyway. Are you new? I'm a senior so I didn't really know any of the middle schoolers last year—but then again I don't really care about middle schoolers."
"Oh, yeah, I'm new. I used to be homeschooled but my mom can't teach me anymore and she doesn't have the funds to hire a personal teacher." Annie said. "That's why I'm at a public school."
Just as she finished explaining, a tall boy sat right next to her.
"Who are you?" The boy asked, then looked up at Addy and Elijah.
"Collin, this is Annie. She's the newest member of the table." Elijah told him.
Collin was a tan boy with gorgeous green eyes. His silky hair was wavy. His jawline was defined, and his nose was perfect. His lips were slightly plump, his teeth were pearl white. He was gorgeous.
"I see. How come I've never seen you before?" Collin asked.
"I'm new." She said.
Collin nodded his head. "You a sophomore? You look quite young."
"Freshmen." Annie said.
"I see." Collin said.
Silence spread along the table. Nobody said anything.
"Well, Annie, I'm having a party at my house. Not everyone is invited, but I'd like to learn more about you, so you should come." Elijah started.
Addy's eyes widened. "Elijah- no." She complained. "Annie, you really do not need to go to this party. It's just a bunch of drunk people and druggies." Addy said.
Elijah laughed. "So, Addy has clearly adopted a freshman. How cute."
Addy rolled her eyes. "Shut your mouth, pretty boy."
"So, Annie? Are you gonna go?" Collin asked.
"I..don't know. I'm not really a party person, and I don't drink or do anything like that! Plus.. my mom would definitely say no." Annie said.
Collin and Elijah sighed.
"You don't have to drink, just have funnn." Collin said patting her head.
Addy yanked his hand and slammed it to the table. "Collin, quit it."
Annie was not excited about having to sit here everyday. The people were scary and weird, and she had no idea if she was really gonna go to this party or not.
"I'll try to go.. don't count on it." Annie said.
