Starflight POV
Where is she?? Where is she??
Starflight frantically felt around for his companion, Fatespeaker. It was late and, she seemed to have gone somewhere without telling him. Suddenly, a thought crossed his mind.
What if she's gone off with some other guy because no one likes to date blind dragons...? That sounds about right... No one likes blind people...
He sat in the library, misery written all over his face. Just then, he heard Fatespeaker talking to another dragon outside the library. "Don't worry sweetheart, it's ok, I promise," she said soothingly. Then he heard the worst possible thing. Fatespeaker KISSED THE OTHER DRAGON!?!?!?!?!? If he could cry, Starflight would be sobbing.
Fatespeaker doesn't like me..... I knew it.... She likes somedragon else..... I'm worthless....
He heard her talonsteps walking gracefully into the cave. "Starflight!" she exclaimed happily. She raced towards him and hugged him. Normally, Starflight would be happy and accept the affection, but today.... No chance.
"Starflight? Are you okay?" Fatespeaker asked, concerned about Starflight's mood. "I'm just not feeling it today," said Starflight "you like some other guy and now you want me?!?!?!" accused Starflight, not waiting for Fatespeaker's response
"Which OTHER GUY???" Fatespeaker asked, puzzled. "Uhhh, the guy you're dating???" said Starflight, getting a bit confused. "I'm not dating anyone else," said Fatespeaker. "Then... Who were you just talking to a few minutes ago??" "Oh, Starflight! That was just my younger brother Thoughtstalker!!!!" she exclaimed with a laugh. "He just joined JMA today!" Starflight breathed a sigh of relief.
"You're the only one I love, Starflight. Don't worry," said Fatespeaker pecking him on the cheek. Starflight wrapped his wings around Fatespeaker, holding her tight. "Goodnight Starry," Fatespeaker whispered affectionately. "Goodnight," he whispered back.
