Kasper arrives at Reko's house. He rings the doorbell and texts Reko, saying he was there already. Just as Reko gets ready, Kasper starts to feel nervous.
'What do I do? Should I tell him...?' Kasper thought.
Just then, the front door opened and Reko was ready to go.
"Hey, let's go."
"Oh, alright... Uhm- hold on. About tutoring at my house, I don't think-"
Suddenly, Reko's mom came out of the kitchen.
Mrs. Laine: "Hun, are you going out?"
Reko: "Ah, yes Ma. I'm going to g-"
Mrs. Laine: "Gasps. Is this a friend of yours?"
Reko: "Huh? Oh, no. He isn't- Agh-"
Reko's mom pushed him away to greet Kasper.
Mrs. Laine: "Hello dear! I'm Reko's mom. What's your name?"
Kasper: "Nice to meet you, ma'am. My name's Kasper. I've come to pick up Reko."
Mrs. Laine: "Ah, what a respectful gentleman you are! Just call me Aunt Laine. And why have you come for my son?"
Kasper: "We're planning to study at my place.."
Mrs. Laine: "Hm, well, you're already here. Might as well just study here, no? Come in! I want to know more about you!"
Reko: "What- Ma!"
Mrs. Laine: "Hush! Now, don't be shy. You can come in, Kasper!"
Reko's mom moved out of the way, and Kasper excused himself before entering the house.
Mrs. Laine: "You both can head upstairs to study. Kasper, would it be alright if you joined us for dinner?"
Kasper: "Uhmm..."
Kasper looked over to see Reko, glaring right at him. He immediately looked away and smiled.
Kasper: "I'd love to!"
Mrs. Laine: "Amazing. See you both in a bit then. I'll call you when dinner is ready."
Reko's mom happily returned to the kitchen to start making dinner.
"Seriously... Whatever, come on."
Kasper followed Reko into his room.
"Don't judge my room, alright?"
"Why? Do you care about my opinion?"
"No. I just don't want to hear any comments of yours."
Kasper nodded as Reko opened the door to his room. Reko's room was...simple. He had a bed that only contained three pillows and a blue blanket. There was a window just to the left of the bed. His closet, which was left mildly opened. And, he only had a few posters of bands he probably enjoyed listening to. The only thing that seemed to be "exciting" was his desk. There were Reko's notebook and his art supplies displayed on it. And in front of it were drawings on the wall that Kasper assumed were drawn and posted by Reko.
"Wow, your room is so simple."
"What did I just say?"
"And, I didn't know you drew. These are amazing."
