"He rejected you." Your dad said in a disappointed tone but you just smiled and nodded. "It's okay dad." You said with a smile and continued eating your breakfast. Taehyung was standing there quietly listening to your dad.
A part of him felt happy but he was confused by your behaviour. You agreed to marry him and now you were smiling. 'Isn't she sad?' He thought staring at you. His eyes widened when you suddenly looked at him and winked at him. He coughed and looked away.
After breakfast, your dad left for the office and you went to the garden with a bright smile on your face. You were glad that Mark wasn't like those assholes who just care for himself. You turned around as soon as you felt his presence behind you.
He was looking down while biting his lips as if he was hesitant to ask you something. "You can ask me whatever you want." You said, crossing your arms over your chest. He looked up at you and took a deep breath.
"It was you who rejected him, right?" He asked in a low voice, making you smile and nod. "Yes I did." You said, slowly walking towards him. He gulped and took a step back but you didn't stop. Instead you pulled him closer and wrapped your arms around his neck.
"What are you doing?" He asked as his eyes widened like a saucer in pure shock. "Which I should've done earlier." Saying this you smashed your lips on his, kissing him passionately. His eyes were opened and yours were closed.
After a few seconds his eyes got closed and he kissed you back. You were on cloud nine when you felt him kissing you back. He tried to match your pace, making you smile between the kisses.
After a while you pulled away from the kiss and saw him closing his eyes which made you chuckle at his cuteness. He opened his eyes and blushed as soon as you pinched his cheeks.
"So Can I take it as you like me back?" You asked, showing him your innocent puppy eyes but he coughed and looked away. "I didn't say anything and it was you who... Umm k-kissed me." His face turns more red as he mentions the kiss.
"So you still won't confess to me that you like me too? Should I tell Jimin to court me? Remember him?" You said with a teasing smirk, making him glare at you. Your smirk widened seeing him getting jealous and he was so obvious.
And why not! Jimin was your biggest fanboy and he courted you three times despite you rejecting him. He was the heartthrob of the college and because he wouldn't give up on you made the students to ship you with him more.
He looked at you with a done expression and walked away. "I think I should talk to my dad." You said loudly but he still didn't turn around. "I will talk about you." You said again and this time he stopped and slowly turned towards you.
You walked towards him with slow steps and he was observing your reaction whether you were joking or serious. "I am serious, Tae." You replied as if you read his mind. He shook his head and took a step towards you.
"I love you and I would like to spend my life with you no matter how much you try to show me you don't love me. I know you love me too or you wouldn't have kissed me back." You said with a serious expression.
"But our world is different. Try to understand YN-ah." You smiled as it was the first time he called your name so casually. "But nothing matters when it comes to love." You looked behind and saw Yoongi coming towards you with a smile.
"If you love her truly then nothing matters. Do you love her?" He asked him directly without hesitation. "If you don't then I will fix her marriage asap." Your eyes widened at the threat. Taehyung's eyes also widened but before he could say anything.
"You are so bad, Yoongi." You turned around again and saw Jieun standing with your father beside her. "Why did you threat him like that? Of course he loves her." She said with a smile. You smiled widely and ran to hug her tightly.
"So you love my daughter?" Your dad asked seriously, making him gulp. "Uncle, you are also scaring him." He started laughing as he saw the sweat forming on his forehead. You pout and look at them with an angry expression.
"You are all so bad. Why are you scaring him?" You said and went to stand beside him. "Ok ok sorry my princess. So my boy you love my daughter?" Your father asked him again but this time with a soft smile on his face.
"Are you not angry, sir?" Taehyung asked timidly as he felt scared for his family and for you. "Why would I be angry? In fact I would be happy if she got married to the one she loves. I don't care about the status as long as she is happy." He said and laughed out loud again as if he cracked a joke.
You smiled and hugged your dad. "I love you dad. You are so cool." You squealed like a baby. "But let him answer first." He said, making you look at him with a 'What the hell' look.
"Yes. I love her." Taehyung confessed, stuttering because of nervousness. You squealed and hugged Jieun and Yoongi. Taehyung smiled and couldn't control his tears. He felt blessed to have a girl like you who didn't give up on him even after so many years.
"Okay. So let's go and give them privacy. The new couple needs it." Jieun said and dragged Yoongi and your dad to the living room. You looked at him with a wide smile and before he could say anything, you threw yourself in his arms and kissed him passionately.
"I love you so much." You confessed as he pulled away from the kiss. "I love you too. Finally you are mine now." He said with a smile and hugged you tightly, not letting the air pass through your bodies. You smiled and hugged him back tightly.
