BAEKHYUN's POV

I woke to the sound of clicking, instantly knowing what it was due to the numerous amount of times I'd woken to that sound.

"Mum... why are you taking photos of me sleeping?" I asked, rubbing my eyes and looking up at her.

She looked like an oversized fangirl...

"Because you and Chanyeol are so cute. When's this wedding, by the way?" I frowned at her. What wedding? I scratched my head as I tried to remember if I'd said anything about someone getting married recently.

I didn't think anyone I knew was getting married...

"Who's wedding?" Mum sighed a little. Chanyeol rolled over in his sleep, his back now facing me.

"Your wedding. You said last night you were getting married." I frowned up at Mum.

"Mum... Did you have a bit too much to drink last night? Because I definitely didn't say I was getting married." She shook her head.

"No, you definitely said you were getting married. And that you were going to have kids."

"She's right, you know..." Chanyeol said, lifting his head up and looking at me. "I discovered you get a bit weird when you're tired..."

Slowly, last nights events returned to me, and I felt my cheeks going red.

"Oh! The pancakes!" Mum quickly ran off, leaving Chanyeol and I alone.

"You're cute when you blush, by the way." Chanyeol said, smiling and pulling me into a hug.

"I wasn't lying though..." Chanyeol pulled away far enough for him to be able to look at me but still had his arms around me. He frowned as he looked at me and I smiled up at him. "I still love you."

I leaned up and kissed him, making him smile. He kissed me back. And then kissed me again. And again. I chuckled as he got so happy, continuously kissing my lips and cheek and forehead.

There was a loud click and I sighed, rolling my eyes and looking at the door where Mum was standing, her camera in her hand. She had a massive smile on her face.

"You two are so cute!" She exclaimed, sounding like a massive fangirl. Which is creepy, given she's my mum and a middle aged woman.

"Thank you, Mrs Byun." Chanyeol said, still smiling, though his cheeks looked a little pink.

"No problem, oh, pancakes are ready when you want them... they're on the table."

"Thanks Mum." She nodded, walking out and leaving us alone once again.

"We should probably go eat pancakes." I said after a minute of awkward silence. I sat up and Chanyeol did the same, nodding.

"Probably. They're generally better warm, anyway..." He held my hand and we stood up.

((Oh my Ravi I want blueberry pancakes now. I can practically taste them... How do I even know what blueberry pancakes taste like?))

"Yeah..." We walked downstairs and were greeted with a plate piled with pancakes.

"Woah, your mum cooked a lot.." Chanyeol said and I led him to the table, sitting down. He sat down next to me and continued to hold my hand.

"And I expect you to eat all of it." Mum said, poking her head out from the kitchen. "I'm just cooking some cupcakes for the book club.. You can have one each when they're done."

"Thanks, Mum." I said, grabbing one of the pancakes and placing it on the plate in front of me. Chanyeol did the same, still holding my hand. "You know, it's really hard to eat pancakes with one hand..."

"Mm..." Chanyeol smiled at me.

"So could you let go of my hand so I can eat?" Chanyeol shook his head.

"Nope." He said, popping the 'p'. "I'm going to keep holding your hand."

Sighing, I picked up my fork and began to try and eat the pancake with one hand. Chanyeol was too, though he seemed to be having less difficulties than me.

"Have you two got anything planned for today?" Mum asked, walking out of the kitchen and wiping her hands on her apron. Chanyeol and I looked at each other before looking back at Mum, shaking our heads.

"Nope."

"Well there's this movie that's come out recently and I won two tickets in a raffle for it. It's supposedly really good but I don't really like those sort of movies." She said. "Do you two want to go?"

"If you don't like the movie, why did you enter the raffle?" I asked. Mum sighed sadly.

"I was hoping to get first... Instead I got fourth." She shook her head, smiling again. "So... Do you two want to go?"

Chanyeol and I looked at each other again.

"Do you want to?" I asked and Chanyeol shrugged. Sighing, I looked back up at Mum. "Sure, we'll go."

"Oh, goody." She then rushed off to go deal with the beeping oven. Chanyeol looked at me, grinning widely.

"So is this another date?" He asked. I smiled slowly.

"I suppose it is..." Chanyeol did a little dance, somehow remembering to stay holding my hand despite being excited and usually not being able to remember things like where his classroom was.

I shook my head and smiled. This kid confused me sometimes, some of the things he did...
But I loved him, every single bit of him.
Even the weird bits.

I'm hungry and my screen looks pink...

I'm sorry for not updating in a while, I had a mini block on how to write this chapter.

I don't have much to say.
Bye
