5. First Snowfall

After spending the entire day with Jungwon, I learned more things about him. For example, his favorite colors are blue and orange... and that I hate how soft he makes me. I have to be tough... I have to make sure my heart doesn't get hurt... I have to protect myself. So shouldn't I have my walls built up? Then why does he break them all down? I just met this boy but he's making my heart open up. "This looks just like you!!!" Jungwon runs to me and holds up a penguin plush. 

I gently smile at him. "You really think so?" He nods with the biggest smile on his face. 

I then look at my hands and hold up a cat plush I was thinking of buying. "And this one looks like you." He truly did look like a cute little kitten. All he was missing were the ears and tail.

He smiled even bigger causing my smile to grow. What?! It's not my fault his smile is contagious! "We should get them! So we have little versions of each other." Why did I feel like I was going to have a heart attack right now?

I nodded hesitantly, at first, then truly nodded. "Let's do it!" He smiled then grabbed my hand intertwining it with mine and went to the store's checkout area. After we were done, we finally went outside. "Thank you for... today?"

He seemed a bit nervous then smiled brightly. "Of course! If you ever want to do it again... Just ask! I'll always be up to seeing you... and going on a date." He looked down a little shy. Wait! Was this a date? Before I could say anything Jungwon noticed something. "Oh my gosh! It's the first snow of the year!"

I looked up to see snow... He was right! "It's so beautiful." I truly did love snow. It meant I could finally do my favorite thing aka ice skate!

He looked into my eyes. "But you're far more beautiful." E-Excuse me? I froze not knowing what to do. He gazed at the snow with wonder as he tried to catch some. He was so... Cute... I mean! How do you say something like that and then act like it didn't happen? He stopped what he was doing and walked closer to me. "You know what they say?" I shook my head. I tried to speak but nothing would come out. "Rumor has it, if you are out in the first snowfall with someone you like, true love will blossom between you." What is he trying to say? He bit his lip. "I know I just met you but would you let it blossom between us?" My heart was racing so fast. I didn't know what to say. I had just met him... But why do I feel like I want to tear up? Love at first sight doesn't really happen, right?... But K and Hee are soulmates. That's for sure! And they started dating right after they met each other... Ugh, I don't know what to even think. 

I looked away not sure what to do. He got even closer to me and put a loose strand of hair behind my ear. "I... Don't know what to think."

He smiled gently at me. "Then don't... Just let your body speak for you." He intertwined his hands with mine. I don't know what overcame me at that moment. I quickly pulled my hands away, and cupped his cheeks kissing him. He held me kissing me deeply. What's happening?! He then pulled away. "Thank you for such a beautiful day!"

I smiled at him. "Thank you... For opening up my heart..."
