8. Trust Your Heart

As soon as I got to work, I rushed to the back and to Heeseung. "Seung I need your phone charger!" He looked at me confused and then handed his charger to me. I was lucky to have the same kind of phone as him. 

I quickly plugged it in and tried to turn it on when "Oh good! Sunghoon can you please get table 3?"

I rolled my eyes at him. "Can't you see I'm busy?!"

He looked at me shocked and then went over to his boyfriend. "Seungie! He's scary!"

Heeseung laughed at us. "What's gotten into you today?" I was so annoyed. I just wanted to make sure Jungwon and his mom knew I didn't hang up on them. 

K nodded then sassed. "Or what hasn't?" I looked at him shocked. Excuse me? What the fuck did he just say? "Geez I'm joking! Hoon calm down!"

How dare he tell me to calm down! "I-"

Before I could say anything else he looked out into the restaurant and smiled. "Actually, Sunghoon you can have table 1" Why did he change it up? Fine... I mean it is my job. I guess I'll listen but I'm not gonna be happy doing it! I rolled my eyes while putting on my apron.

Whatever... K chuckled at me with a smile then I left the back. Seriously, what is on his mind? I tried to click my pen and calm down my anger but as I got to table 1. "Hey love!" It was Jungwon with the biggest smile. It was strange to say but, at that moment all my anger went away. 

I tried to keep myself from smiling. "My phone died earlier... I'm seriously so sorry." I felt so bad for what happened.

He grabbed my hand and caressed it. "Nae Sarang, you think I'm dumb?" He chuckled. "I mean yeah you could have hung up but you weren't even truly done with what you were saying."

I looked down a little. No matter what though... What about his Eomma? "Yeah, but I feel bad." He held my hand and then placed a small kiss on it. I looked away from him and smiled. "Baby, what can I get for you"

He smiled brightly at me. "How many tables are you serving?"

I wonder why he was asking that? What was on his mind? "At this very moment only yours."

He smirked and bit his lip. "Can you take a small break?" A break? I don't know...

Why would he ask that? "It really depends..."

He stood up and held my waist. "Just a few moments away?" 

I was hesitant at first but gave in nodding. "Yeah, I think I can do that." He took my hand and led me to the side of the restaurant and into the restroom. "Why did you take me here?"

He smiled at me then caressed my cheek making me melt into his touch. "This is your job... I think this is probably the only place I can fully do something like this without someone questioning you." I was confused at first what he meant by that, but he then pulled me in for a kiss.

I wrapped my arms around his waist pulling him in, deepening the kiss. This feeling wasn't normal for me but it made me feel alive. As if a fire inside me was relit. I pulled away and he nuzzled my nose with his smiling. "Why did you want to?"

He smiled brightly at me. "Because it was your reward for calling me baby." I bit my lip. Seriously, this boy was either going to be the death of me or my whole world... I can't be thinking like this we just met! Maybe... I can just give in a little more?

I kissed him again. This time short but very passionate. I swear his kiss was so sweet, just like chocolate. "I sadly have to get back to work but... Thank you, baby." He smiled brightly.

I gave his hand a gentle squeeze, before leaving the bathroom. "Ahem... Sunghoon shouldn't you be working?" K asked in a teasing manner.

Fuck! Damn it... "I'm so sorry... Would it be enough of an excuse to say I was making out with someone?" Okay, what kind of excuse is that? I'm lucky I work for a friend.

K chuckled. "In most cases no... but because you seem cheery. Tell me everything!" Seriously, how did that work? I smiled at him and giggled. "See! This is a different Park Sunghoon!"

I shook my head at him. I'm not different... I'm just happy. "His name is Jungwon... It's the guy you and Hee keep making me serve every time they come in.

K awwed at me. "Aww cute! I knew there was going to be something! I mean he even asked me for your schedule." Wait he did? No wonder he knew when I was working.

I looked down a little. "But... is it weird... Since we just met?"

He shook his head and smiled at me. "Sweetie... You might not want to hear it but I was in Seung's bed by the second day of knowing him." I seriously didn't need to know all of that!

That was wayy too much information! "Okayy TMI! We've not even gotten that far... I mean I don't even know what I am to him."

K looked at me surprised. "You don't?" Somehow, in the times of seeing him, it never came to mind. So here I am... like what am I to him?

I shook my head. "Nope... I don't even know if we are serious." My heart didn't want to think about that idea... But it was true. There was a chance we weren't more than friends that flirt.

He gave me a comforting smile. "Just make sure to figure out what you want and then tell him. Like you know... In the beginning, it was just a one-night stand with Hee... But I fell in love with him and told him how I truly felt. Now here we are in love, living together, and running a business. Also, honey... love at first sight does exist! Trust your heart!" I smiled at him. He was telling the truth. What did I want? How did I truly feel about him? I think... I might...
