John's POV

I took Joanne to the nearest hospital. When her vitals were checked, we found out that she was still alive. She was given immediate treatment. When she became conscious again, I preached Christ to her. I told her that she would have been in hell if she had succeeded in killing herself. She had an emotionless expression.

I asked her if she wanted to accept Jesus. She didn't. I felt discouraged but I continued to tell her about how Jesus gives peace, love and joy. Then, her eyes started to water. Before long, she began to cry so seriously that a nurse practically pushed me out of her ward. She claimed that I was worsening her state. Joanne called me back in and I did a mocking face to the nurse who left the ward in shame/anger.

Joanne cried. I tried to calm her down by telling her to accept Jesus. She wiped her tears with a napkin.

"Jesus, I want you." She said in her weak voice.

I led her through the salvation prayer.

I could not interpret her expression after she said it but I knew it was a positive one.

When she was discharged, I read some verses from the bible to her. I read out John 3 verse 16, Luke 10 verse 27 Mark 12 verses

John 3 : 16

"For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.

Luke 10 : 27

The man answered, "'You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your strength, and all your mind.' And, 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'"

Mark 12 : 30

And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength.'

Mark 12 : 31

The second is equally important: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' No other commandment is greater than these.
