*Teyanas POV*

"Morning," I said to Leah as she awoke.

"Good morning Tey" Leah responded, sitting up straight.

"Want coffee?" I asked while walking to our kitchen.

"Sure," Leah replied almost instantly before standing up from her bed and walking tords her dresser.

I made coffee in our coffee maker while she took clothes and left to our shared bathroom to change.

I heard her phone ding, I went to our nightstand where Leah's phone had been laying. It was a notification from her boyfriend, Leo.

I grabbed her phone, there was no one there but me so a little snooping wouldn't hurt, right?

I opened her phone and went to her messages. There in her contacts she had several friends, her mom, me and her boyfriend.

I opened the chat with her boyfriend.

Damn, there conversations are boring as shit. While going through there boring texts, all of a sudden I herd the door for the bathroom unlock.

Quickly, I turned it off and put down the phone, pretending like I was looking for somthing in the night stand

"What're you looking for?" Leah asked curiously as I rummaged in the nightstand drawer.

"Oh... uhmm... myyy.... keys!" I stammered while pulling out my keys from the drawer.

"Found it," I turned back to her and smiled before walking back to the kitchen.

"Here's your coffee," I gave it to leah and sat down next to her at our table for 4.

"Thanks," Leah took it and sipped it slowly.

It was silent half the time that we sat there drinking our coffees. I didn't quite know what happened to Leah because usually she's bright and happy.

"You okay?" I asked her calmly.

"Why where you crying last night?" Leah responded in a quiet tone, but you could still hear what she said.

My eyes widened in shock as that wasn't what I expected. My face blushed lightly while my mind was filled with all the thoughts from last night, even the dirty ones.

"You were awake?" I whispered tords her.

"Yeahhh? What's the problem with that?" Leah replied.

"When did you wake up?" I asked.

"I don't know? Like 2 or 3 am" She muttered, looking at me.

I look at her with a surprised face, I thought she was asleep that whole time. Does that mean she saw me stare at her?My heart felt like it was pounding out my chest.

There was a brief moment of silence while we looked at eachother with flushed faces.

"Can you answer my question? Why did you cry last night? What happened?" Leah said curiously which burst the bubble of silence between us.

I sat there sipping the coffee, we were still looking at eachother that whole time. I could tell she was just waiting for me to answer but the truth was, I don't think I know myself why I cryed.

There's alot of reasons why that come to mind but I don't know which one it really is. It could just be a mixture of all of them.

"Well?" Leah asked.

"It's nothing, really." I said calmly as my mouth curled into a forced smile.

"Can you at least explain why you were staring at m-" She asked impatiently before I cut her off.

"Nope, I need to get changed, we only have like an half an hour left," I said, trying to find an excuse to get out that situation.

I placed my cup back on the table, now empty. I stood up and speed walked tords my dresser, trying find something to put on.

I grabbed jeans, a t shirt and a large hoodie. Than darted to the bathroom, I could feel Leah's eyes following me around the room until I shut the door to the bathroom.

I looked myself in the mirror and goddamn, I looked like shit. My eyes were still tinted with red and my short black hair was tangled.

Every time I looked myself in the mirror, all I could imagine was Leah hugging me from behind in a loving way. As quickly as I thought of it, the quickly I brushed those thoughts out my mind.

I tried to take the longest time possible getting ready so when I came out the bathroom Leah wouldn't have time to ask questions.

"Tey, you good in there? Your taking a while," I heard Leah say while she knocked on bathroom door.

"Yeah I'm fine, give me a minute," I responded quickly before putting on the rest of my clothes.

"Okay, I'll be here waiting for you, we need to leave in a bit." She said softly.

I sighed, looking myself in the mirror one last time before heading out.
