Storm's POV

She wouldn't say anything else and only one more plan came to mind. Something that would shock her.

I stepped in front of her window view but she didn't take her eyes off her staring point, which was now my chest.

I kneeled down in front of her chair and looked into those hollow eyes of her's and caressed her cheek with on of my hands. I traced her jawline from her ear to her chin and drew it up to my face and planted a kiss on her lips.

Her lips were chapped and dry at the touch but I still kissed her. She still tasted sweet and her ashen sent still smelt beautiful.

She put her hand weakly on my chest and tried to push me away but her strength was too little that I didn't even feel the effort, "Storm..." She murmured.

"I still love you," I whispered and took a strand of her unhealthy in result whispy hair and brushed it behind her ear.

"Jellal said he loved me before he died..." Nashi whispered sadly and actually moved her head down to look at her lap. Her weak little hands clenched together and a measly tear slipped down her cheek.

"Nashi. You need to stop or you'll end up in the hospital." I looked down at her in worry, "I'll be right back."

I quickly walked out of the room and headed toward the kitchen where the Dragneel family looked up at me expectantly, "How is she?" Lucy asked me with hope twirling in her eyes. I took a long sigh as I filled a glass with water, "Well, she showed emotion."

"Really?" Luke gasped as if it was a miracle. It probably was a miracle, like a corpse that came back to life. "Yeah. I think the only way to get her back to normal is to drag her out of the house and have her back at Fairy Tail."

"We've tried that," Lucy said with tears dotting the corners of her eyes, "But she won't move and every time we touch her she says 'Jellal's dead. He's dead. It's my fault. I left him.'"

"Well she hasn't said that to me yet, I'm going to try. First she has to drink water before she gets too dehydrated." I announced and walked back to Nashi's room.

"Drink this," I said to her. She nodded frailly and tried to grasp the cup but her muscles were far too weak for even that. "Here." I put the water to her lips and she gladly drank it all quickly.

"Do you need---" I started to ask but was interrupted by her weak head falling down onto my chest and the sound of her crying. I picked her up and carried her to the bed and set her head in my lap, "Thank you..." she choked out through her tears.

Then I noticed something that I hadn't noticed before: the bags under her eyes. She most have not gotten any sleep in days. I sadly stroked her beautiful hair gently as she continued to cry and not much longer she fell asleep. I smiled at her peaceful face and leaned my head back against the headboard.

I fell asleep too.
