Nashi's POV

My mind seemed more clear when I stepped into the shower. The warm steam seemed to clear my mind off all the thoughts that pulled me down. I'll do it for Jellal. If he wants me to be the happy person I once was, I will try. For him. He saved my life so I will honor the life he saved.

Once I was done showering I brushed my hair and let it fall over my shoulders and put some make up to cover my hollow and darkened features. I brushed my teeth and quickly put on a pink tank top and some shorts.

"There's the Nashi I know," Storm announced when I stepped out of the bathroom.

I looked at the ground, "I-I don't know if I can..." I said wearily and fiddled with my fingers.

"Why can't you?" He asked while taking a step closer to me. "I haven't...seen them in months...and...there are new kids..."

"Don't worry Nashi. I'll be right here, you don't have to talk to people at first. I'll make sure they give you space." He insisted with a gentle smile.

"Thank you Storm. For all you have done." I said slowly my eyes slightly tearing up. No one seemed to even try to even gently force me to take care of myself and realize how selfish I was being. I was causing other's pain and instead of being brave I was keeping myself cooped up. That little bit of sleep and that warm shower help clear my mind. Even if I had to force myself to be happy I would be. For Jellal. For my love.

"Anything for you," he smiled and hung his arm around my shoulders. My heart was pounding in my chest as we walked out of my room and into the kitchen.

"Nashi!" Lucy jumped off the stool she had been sitting on and embraced my in her loving arms, "Please. Don't ever do that again," she cried. She was crying. Oh no, what have I done.

"Mom, don't cry," I said but it came out as a croak. I was weak and my knees were wobbly. I couldn't stand on my legs without trembling, was I really that weak?

I hadn't realized it but every time I had been standing on my own I was holding onto something. In the shower I was holding onto the metal bar. Oh god.

I looked at my hands which were a sickly pale yellow and my bones clearly shown threw my skinny muscles. My veins seemed to be a higher level than my skin.

I gasped and stumbled back then tripped over my feet landing on my bottom. My breath started to quicken along with my heart beat which seemed to work really hard at giving me enough blood. I stared at my hands with wide eyes and the tears started to flow.

"Nashi..." Natsu ran over to me and helped me to my feet while keeping an arm around me for support. "Oh god, sweet girl. We need to get you to the hospital."

"What's wrong with her?" Luke demanded. My head started to swirl with all the conversation. "She looks starving and dehydrated," Storm said.

"Lack of sleep, too." Storm bit his lip grimly. Natsu picked me up bridal style and I stared up at his strong face and gently reached my hand out to touch it.
"Dad..." I murmured nervously.

"It's okay little Nashi. You'll be okay." He smiled down to me while carrying me to the car.

I was carefully placed in the car and Storm and Luke sat on either side of me with Lucy across from me.

"Get some rest, Nashi," Storm instructed. I let my head roll onto his shoulder and I fell into darkness.

Storm's POV

I sighed, "I knew it would be too good to be true."

"What?" Luke gave me a confused look. "That she could automatically return to the guild."

I felt a warm hand being placed on mine. I traced the arm up to see Lucy kindly smiling at me but the sad look lingered in her eyes, "Thank you, Storm. But she would probably be too embarrassed to go to the guild anyway."

"Yeah..." I mumbled glumly. The road rumbled beneath us as Natsu crazily drove to the hospital. This wasn't a magic problem it was a normal human problem that would be better dealt with at a normal hospital.

We stopped at the Emergency Room entrance and Natsu went in. It was a couple of minutes before some doctors came running out with a stretcher.

I opened the car door and helped them slide Nashi in. She didn't wake up and her breaths became more shallow.

We all hopped out of the car and followed the nurses and doctors who brought Nashi into a room but they wouldn't let us in. We were forced to sit on a bench while Natsu paced in front of us.

There was a lot of yelling and after an hour it became quiet and the nurse came out. We all hold our breath nervously to her unreadable expression.

"She's fine," We all let out our nervous air in release, "She will just need to stay here for tonight and then we will have a prescription and instruction for you."

"Thank you," Lucy smiled.

"Of course," the nurse smiled back and then walked off.
