Chapter 6 || Welcome Back

A/N: I feel like I have cement in my face. I. Hate. Being. Sick. Worst feeling ever. Well, other than a headache.

Anyways, why are you crying. I tried to make the crying stop but you still cry! GURGAFLURGER! Okay. It's okay. We're gonna do this together guys!

♛ Nashi's POV ♛

The week flew by quickly enough. I only had a few visions but Storm was by my side the whole time.

I was done with my wheel chair and I only had to wear a wrap over my arm. My skin was still awfully pale but it wasn't that sickly yellow color and my muscles started to renew because of physical therapy.

Today was my first day back at the guild. I quickly took my pills and skipped to the door.

BONK!

The door hit my face and I was sent flying back, "Luuuuuuuke!" I whined as he hovered over me. "Oh my god, Nashi. I'm so sorry! I promise I didn't mean to! Are you okay? Do you need ice?"

"I'm fine," I groaned and gently put my hand on my head to make sure there wasn't a bump. Okay, I'm alive.

Luke helped me off my feet and I brushed off the imaginary dust on my shorts.

"Going to the guild?" He asked. "Yep." I said while giving a pop to the 'p'.

"Have fun," Luke smiled as I continued my skip out the door. I felt something, or shall I say someone, land on my shoulder.

"Nashi! Nashi! Nashi!" Carly cheered while hugging my face. "I haven't seen you in forever!"

Then Carly smacked my face, "Don't ever do that again!" She growled with a tear running down her blue face.

"I promise I won't Carly," I smiled and hugged her tightly.

"I may-- not-- be human-- but I-- still-- need-- oxygen," the exceed choked out.

"Oh," I gasped and let her go, "Sorry."
Carly giggled, "It's okay."

"Now let's go!" Carly picked me up by the tank top and brought me 50 feet in the air. I screamed, "Carly! Stop! You're gonna rip it!"

"Fine fine." Carly let me go and I shrieked as I fell towards the ground and squeezed my eyes shut, "Carlyyyy!" But something stopped my fall.

I opened one eye to make sure I wasn't dead and found myself in Storm's arms, "You need to stop having near-death experiences." He chuckled.

"Carly's the one who dropped me!" I pouted and crossed my arms.

Carly flew down until she was hovering next to me, "Sorry Nashi. Do you have any fish?"

I mentally face-palmed.

"Let's go to the guild," Storm prodded. "You know you can put me down now...." I hinted.

"Nope," Storm laughed and ran at full speed towards the guild with my in his arms.

When we got to the doors he dropped me to my feet and we entered the guild hall. I was automatically tackled by 3 girls. Jaylee, Lorie and Bianca.

"Nashiiiiiii!" They all squealed in unison. Yes, even Bianca squealed. You learn something new every day.

"Don't ever leave us again Flame Princess!" Jaylee threatened. "I'm not planning on it," I laughed weakly.

"You scared us to death! We thought we were never gonna see you again!" Lorie cried while tears streaming down her face. "Yeah punk!" Bianca agreed.

"Yo sis, are you crying?" A male chuckled. We all got up from where they had tackled and pinned me with hugs and Jaylee quickly wiped her face and punched the blue haired boy. He looked just like Jaylee, same height and all. "They're twins," Lorie whispered, "That's Rin Fullbuster."

"No I'm not!" Jaylee retorted stubbornly, "I'm pretty sure you were," Rin chuckled.

Jaylee kicked him in the nuts and swung around triumphantly while flipping her hair over her shoulder.

Rin fell to the ground and rolled around holding his low area and yelling, "Ow ow ow ow ow ow! Jaylee not cool!"

I laughed and was quickly picked up and spun around, "Nashi!" James cheered.

"Hey James," I giggled and he gave me a hug, "Been a while? Being manly?" I shook my head, "I'm a woman, James."

"Woman can still be manly. Like Bianca," he chuckled.

"Hey, is that an insult?" Bianca yelled and stomped over to him. "No babe, it's a good thing."

Babe? Are they dating? Again Lorie appeared behind me and whispered, "They started dating a couple months ago." I swear that girl could read minds.

I walked around the guild hall greeting people with Team Nashi following behind me. Jaylee's arm was hung around my shoulder the whole time.

We came across a closet and Alexa and Jacob stumbled out. "What were you two doing in the closet...?" Lorie asked with raised eyebrows.

"Uhh, nothing!" Jacob said quickly. They both had really red faces, "I swear I heard noises coming from there," Jaylee whispered with a giggle.

"Anyways," Alexa said dropping the subject, "Welcome back Nashi."

"Thanks," I smiled and gave her a hug.

Someone tapped on my shoulder and I spun around to find myself facing Storm, "I told you they missed you," he smiled, "Welcome back."
