The following morning, Izzy was sitting on her new bed, fully dressed in her new uniform, anxiously waiting for her new friends to finish getting ready.

"Your teddy is so cute!" Marlene giggled, holding up her own bear, "this is Mr Sparkles, I've had him since I was young too!"

"Honestly! Panda is so many years old now, but I couldn't bare the thought of leaving him at home whilst I go to school!"

"Me too!" Exclaimed Marlene. "How much longer do you guys need? Izzy and I are ready!"

"I'm almost done," Lily promised, brushing her beautifully long ginger hair out. "So Iz, what's Remus like as a brother? I mean it must be so exciting having a twin! I've always dreamt of having one, my sister Petunia is awful!"

"Remus and I don't get along," Isabella shrugged, "I personally hate him. Obviously it doesn't bother me if you guys are close with him, so don't feel stressed about that, I'm the intruder here. I just, hopefully, won't have to speak to him at all."

"Has it always been that way? Asked Alice.

"Since we were quite young, yeah."

"Well, I suppose we're in the same boat with siblings we don't get along with, eh?" Lily chuckled.

"Apparently so!"

"Everyone ready to go? I'm starving!"

"Let's go!"

The girls left their dorm and headed towards the Gryffindor common room, where they were met with Peter being chased around the room by James, who was shouting very loudly.

"Peter! Pleaseee! Pete!"

"Not unless you give me a packet of bonbons from your stash! You know I love the blueberry ones just as much as you do!"

"But that's my stash!"

Isabella observed the interaction with a smile on her face, whenever she imagined Hogwarts, this wasn't quite what came to mind. In her head, Hogwarts was a dark, creepy and empty place, a scary place where everyone was much like Remus; extremely boring and irritating, and a place where everybody worshiped Remus, despite him being so evil at home.

Yet, Hogwarts was almost the opposite; it wasn't dark and empty, it was actually full of life and colours that bring warmth and comfort. She wasn't surrounded by people who were like Remus - nasty and cruel, instead, she was surrounded by people who were entertaining.

"And they're my homework answers! You had all summer to do it!" Peter was grinning from ear to ear, he knew that if he was going to win any argument, it would be this one.

James paused for a second, looking up at the girls who were watching the interaction, his face going from a scowl to a smile as he caught the sight of Isabella. "Fine, Pete, but only one packet! And I need the answers now!"

It almost made her blush...he looked at her in way that made her feel seen, made he want to smile. James Potter had quite the charm, though as thoughts like that crept into her mind, she was quick to remind herself that James was just her brothers friend, and by means, someone she shouldn't dare grow any real type of relationship with.

Though why did the idea of not being able to get to know James a little more make her feel...disappointed?

She shook off the feeling, her eyes back on he and Peters 'argument'.

"Woop!" Peter cheered triumphantly, finally handing James his summer holiday homework to James. "Thank you!"

"How was your first night, Bells?" James asked, turning to Izzy as he began scribbling answers down onto a piece of parchment.
