"What details?" Viserys asked. "We would like to know how the succession will be handled." "Valaena is my heir and my two daughters my equals. Upon my death, my throne and my titles will be passed to them. Valaena and Ser Petyr's firstborn child, regardless of gender, will inherit the Iron Throne from her." "Can I presume that, in keeping with Westerosi tradition their children would take their father's name? That they would be born Velaryon's?" Valaena lightly shook her head at that and Viserys seemed to notice. "Surely Lord Coryls you are not proposing the Targaryen dynasty end with my daughters. Simply because they are women?" "I only seek to clarify, Your Grace." Valaena was horrified when their father began to cough again which made Rhaenys stand up from her spot to help him while Lynol also being quick to his side. "Might I have a chair brought in for you?" "I do not require a chair." He said after calming down, Viserys now continued to speak. "Upon their birth, Ser Petyr and Valaena's children shall take their father's name, Velaryon and keeping with our traditions. However, at such time when their first born ascend the Iron Throne, he or she will do so bearing the name Targaryen. Dragons will rule the Seven Kingdoms for the next hundred years, just as they did the last." Lord Coryls and Rhaenys fell silent. "This is an equitable compromise." "Good. Now, if there's nothing further." Valaena followed her father and his Hand, Lord Coryls and Valaena looked at each other once before we left the room, she knew that she would have to keep an eye on Ser Petyr and Lady Laena.

As they were headed back to King's Landing, Valaena remained seated watching the sea for miles, there was nothing else just water. Her mind was blank but she was confused and a bit scared of what was to come, she never imagined herself getting married. Valaena watched as her father continued to grow a lot sicker and she didn't want to give him anymore trouble like she had done in the past. Valaena lowly sighed and closed the book she had once been reading before she had gotten herself distracted with so much thinking, she slowly stood up from her spot outside, she breathed in slowly and gently began to rub her stomach. Due to becoming quite nervous at the events being spoken with Lord Coryls she felt sick on what would happen to her, what would they be going into the future? So much began to run through her head when she stepped onto the boat again that she ran and threw up all she had eaten. She looked back to see where her father had been sitting but he wasn't there, now she wondered if her father was inside resting. Valaena hadn't spoken about this entire thing with Rhaenyra, Valaena began to search for her since she was probably up on the front, and she remained still and noticed her and Ser Criston speaking to one another. Whatever they were talking about their conversation seemed to grow tenser. Quickly Valaena made her way over to them and stood by Rhaenyra's side surprising Ser Criston when he saw her. "Is everything alright here?" Valaena asked firmly. Now openly glaring at Ser Criston since he for some reason seemed angry at Rhaenyra.

He nodded his head once still looking at her, he said nothing but knew that I would do or say something to him if he were to cross the line; Criston said nothing and now the sisters watched him quickly leave. "I'm doing this for myself you know?" Rhaenyra muttered under her breath. Valaena hugged her twin and she hugged her back. "Whatever happens know that you will always have me and Daenys to talk to. We will always remain close no matter what." Valaena felt Rhaenyra nod her head once while it rested against her neck, recently she had grown so much. "I promise I will. We'll look after each other." The sisters held each other's hand and went further up of the boat and noticed King's Landing was just right up ahead.

Several days later, the day that Valaena had dreaded had arrived, her wedding day, in her chambers she stared at herself in the mirror and went over to stand by her sisters as she held Rhaenyra's shoulders and smiled sadly at today's events. Rhaenyra looked extremely beautiful today, as she looked at herself and her sisters, she kept a straight face on. All three of them were dressed in white dresses, only that Rhaenyra's dress had short sleeves, while the Valaena's dress had long sleeves and the sleeves of Valaena's ended in a triangle. Their hair was also styled differently but for the same occasion. A few strands of hair hung down her face, making her silver hair nearly blend into her dress. The words of their father before getting prepared continued to run through her head.
