Max's Alarm Screamed!!
Max groaned as she rolled over in her bed to her navy blue alarm.
ALARM: 4:02 AM.
'Oh yes, my road trip to Dallas with the party!'
Max thought as she quickly got up to get ready.
She brushed her teeth and got dressed and did her hair. She wore her hair down straight and wore a fuzzy jumper and joggers with fluffy black socks. She grabbed her big, black suitcase
and brought it into the kitchen. She quickly made herself Cheerios and a glass of orange juice. As she sat down, she looked to her shelves full of pictures of memories. One of her when she was younger, playing at the sunny California beach. Second picture was a Winter in Hawkins with...Lucas. She hasn't seen him since he left Hawkins, you see...
Lucas and Max had just finished Senior Year. Lucas found a college in Dallas, very appealing and a good report for Basketball and other sports. The party all dropped out of high school except for Will, so he could finish his art studies. They had begged him to stay, but he refused to deny the opportunity. He left Hawkins a month later to Dallas for the college. Now, 5 years later...No signs of him from nobody, he gave no contact to anyone; even his own parents. No one knows where he is or how he is..
Max jumps and spills her orange juice when there's suddenly a big knocks on the door.
"Shit, shit!!" Max said, she quickly opened the door to see the party.
"Max!!" El says giving Max a hug. Max hugs back but has a annoyed face.
"You spilt my orange juice guys, you scared me and I knocked it over." Max stated cleaning the mess up before grabbing her suitcase.
"So what's the issue??.." Mike asked clearly oblivious.
"Nevermind." Max exclaimed, approaching the van and jumping in it. El sat next to her whilst the boys were at the two front rows seats whilst the girls were at the back, gossiping even though they were 22.
"Found any boys your into yet??" El asked enthusiastically.
"No, I still can't get over Lucas..wait we can find him in Dallas right?! He went to college here so he must be here! We can find him!!"
Max says clearing proud of her idea and determined.
"Woah, woah Max calm down. I'm not sure we will find him just yet..but maybe we can??Plus it's been 5 years Max, I think it's time to move on.." El explained, feeling Happy but Sad for her best friend.
"El, I will find him, even if takes hours, days, Years, or centuries. I want my Lucas back."
Max stated firmly.
She formed her plan..
