"Hey big head, congratulations." Liv stepped into a hug with Jordan as the lively chatter of celebration enveloped them.
"Thank you, Liv," Jordan replied, his eyes briefly following Layla as she spoke with Coop in a corner, savouring a slice of cake.
"Oh, by the way, I got word that my Father's Day pieces are going up in the museum next week. They'll be on display for two months," Liv shared with excitement.
"That's fantastic news, Liv. You created a movement and it deserves all the recognition," Jordan said, genuinely pleased.
Liv nodded, "Yeah, I know. It's a big moment for us, Dad was my inspiration."
As the conversation flowed, Jordan spoke about his plans for settling down in LA and his anticipation of joining the new team. "It's a fresh start, you know. I'm looking forward to it."
Liv smiled, "And speaking of fresh starts, guess what? Spencer is moving in with me next week as he prepares to join the Giants."
Jordan raised an eyebrow, teasing, "Moving in together already? You're not wasting any time."
Liv laughed, "Well, your wedding was kind of like a kick in the butt for us. Made us realize we shouldn't be dragging our feet. Besides, it feels right."
As they continued their conversation, Spencer walked up to them with a curious expression. "What are you guys talking about? Don't leave me out."
Jordan grinned, "Oh, just discussing how Liv is making big moves, plus we placed bets on how long it takes before you start redecorating her place."
Spencer rolled his eyes, "Please, I have taste. Liv, you're not letting him mess with my aesthetics, are you?"
Liv chuckled, "Don't worry, I'll keep him in check. But seriously, Spencer, my brother here is full of surprises. Who knew he'd be the first to tie the knot?"
Jordan playfully nudged Spencer, "Yep, I guess I beat y'all to it, don't wait too long Spence"
Spencer shook his head, grinning, "Haha, very funny. Congrats once again, Jay."

"CEO of Keating Records, huh? I hate to say I told you so, but I did tell you," Coop remarked, sipping her drink.
Layla chuckled, a mix of excitement and contentment in her eyes. "Thanks, Coop. I'm thinking of renaming it to also honour my mom. What do you think about ForMonica Keating Records?"
Coop's eyes lit up. "That has nice a ring to it. Lay, I'm happy for you. You deserve this happiness, you earned it." She turned to glance at Jordan, who was engaged in conversation with Liv and Spencer. "Plus, you got yourself a snack. That is one beautiful man."
Layla grinned, a playful glint in her eyes. "Yeah, and he's all mine." She bit her lower lip, a gesture of both playfulness and satisfaction.
"Well, I should socialize with your guests since you're leaving me to move to LA."
Layla suggested, "You should chat with Spencer. He'll be staying in New York, and he's a Crenshaw native. You both will hit it off."
"Maybe we might even become besties, but don't worry, I won't replace you," Coop smirked as she strolled toward where Spencer was engaged in conversation.
Taking a moment to absorb the joyous atmosphere, Layla's eyes met Jordan's, and he smiled as he made his way toward her.
"Hey, wife," he greeted as he approached.
"Hi, husband."
"Want to go somewhere else?" he suggested.
Layla nodded, and he took her hand, leading her away from the lively celebration, heading towards the familiarity of her bedroom.

Wrapped in the warmth of the sheets, Layla snuggled closer to Jordan, his comforting presence behind her.
"We're going to be late to the airport," she mused, her voice filled with a mixture of playfulness and concern.
He chuckled, the sound resonating in the quiet room. "Relax, our flight is at 11 pm, and it's just 7 pm," he said checking his watch
A thoughtful pause, and Layla's voice returned, a hint of worry still lingering. "Do you think it was rude that we snuck out of our party?" She turned to face him with her eyes beaming with affection
Jordan reassured her as he stroked her hair, "No, the music is still on, so they are having fun."
A tender moment passed between them, and Layla whispered, "I love you, Jordan Baker."
"I love you, Layla Baker," he responded, sealing his words with a soft kiss on her lips.
"As much as I love the sound of that, it's still Layla Keating," she teased.
Jordan raised an eyebrow, playing along. "What? Okay, how about Layla Baker-Keating?"
A playful negotiation ensued. "Layla Keating-Baker sounds better."
"Okay, as long as there is a Baker in it," he agreed with a grin.
The room was soon filled with the tender symphony of their kisses, a celebration of their love. In the quiet intimacy, they shared more than physical closeness; it was a dance of two souls entwined. Wrapped in each other's arms, they embraced the promise of their new chapter, finding solace and excitement in the unknown adventures that awaited them in Los Angeles.

Jordan and Layla found solace in the laughter of the children as they attended Jaymee and Asher's son's party. The party was a lively affair, with kids running around, their laughter creating a symphony of pure, unfiltered happiness. Amid the children's laughter and the warm glow of the party, they felt a quiet optimism growing within them. The horizon stretched before them like a canvas waiting to be painted with the hues of their shared dreams. It was in these moments, surrounded by love and the pure, untainted joy of childhood, that they dared to believe in a future where all their troubles would be washed away.
In the vibrant garden filled with the scent of blooming flowers, they joined Jaymee, Asher, and their friends in celebrating the birthday joy. The atmosphere was alive with energy as they engaged in a variety of activities, from lively games that echoed with children's giggles to the heartfelt singing of "Happy Birthday."
Underneath a canopy of fairy lights, they shared in the delight of the moment, capturing the festivities with Polaroids that would become cherished memories. The garden, adorned with colourful decorations and the joyful chatter of friends, became a haven of shared happiness. It was a day when time seemed to slow down, allowing them to savour every precious moment.
Later in the evening, as they stood on the balcony of the Baker family house, the Hollywood sign glittered in the distance, a symbol of the dreams and opportunities that awaited them in LA. The house, lovingly taken care of by Preach, Jordan's father's old friend, felt like a sanctuary. It was a place where the past and future converged, each room holding memories of the Bakers and whispering promises of new beginnings.
Excitement for their new life bubbled within them. The city held endless possibilities, and they were ready to explore every avenue hand in hand. As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting the city in hues of orange and pink, Jordan wrapped his arm around Layla, and they lingered in that moment, grateful for the life they were about to create and optimistic about the adventures that lay ahead.
The End.
