Takemichi POV:

Me and Naoto are back at Naoto's workplace to discuss what I am going to do next time I go to the past. After we're done, I shake Naoto's hand, I feel an electric spark, and everything goes black, the next second am back in the past.

Y/n POV:

Finally, today is the day I beat Aki in a dance battle. I have beaten him before, but he has improved, and now I am the one losing. Too bad though, because I have finally learned an insane move that will guarantee my win.

"I'm heading off" I yelled, I closed the door before anyone could reply. Grabbing my skateboard and pulling up my MP3 player.

I was just practicing some of my moves on my skateboard, I have been riding a skateboard ever since I was 5, so I have good enough control to dance. While skating, it was just a flat road anyway.

These dance battles happen every week, but after I became friends with a few people from Toman, haven't I gotten the time to practice my dancing, nor my dance fighting. Also, I couldn't do any dancing after being hospitalized and had to wait a few days after being signed out of the hospital. That was so irritating, and I thought I was going to die.

Timeski0:

After skating for a while, I finally arrived at the meeting place where the dance battle was being held. Today it's held in Roppongi, a place meant to dance.

"You're finally back on track Y/n. Ready to be beaten?" Aki said with a grin. "Yes, am back, and who says I will get beaten?" I said with confidence. "I said it. Anyways we can't stay here for long, it's going to be busy tonight, so let's get started, shall we?" Aki was ready to dance, and it was showing. "We shall" I answered.

"Heads or tail?" The one watching over the battle asked. "Heads," I said, "Okay, then it's tails for you Aki" "Fine," Aki said. Jiro, the one that's watching over the battle flipped the coin and it landed on tails. "Aki beginning" Jiro announced. The crowd started to cheer when Aki started to dance.

Aki and I have a different dance technique, so is it just giving extra spice to the crowd. Aki is doing breakdancing, while I do hip-hop mixed with gymnastics. I was forced to do gymnastics by my aunt, so why not use it to good use?

The beat finally dropped, and Aki was signaling that it was my turn to show what I could do. I didn't waste any time to start.

I started up with some simple moves before doing a backflip landing in the slip, my hands supporting the fall so it wouldn't hurt, the second I touched the ground, I went straight up to a press handstand. Doing some moves while standing on one hand. Pushing myself into the air with my arms trying to take another backflip which I barely landed. 'Damn, that was way too close' I thought.

I did some simple hip-hop moves again and added some breakdancing to it, because why not? It was now time for the finishing moves.

My movements became much bigger and faster. I have never been good at breakdancing, but I have learned a move, not even Aki can do. Or I wouldn't say I have fully learned it, but last time I practiced that move, was I so close to landing it. I'm risking a win here, but that's what dance battles are for.

Spinning on one arm, I pushed myself and took a backflip, landing on my back and starting to spin on my back. Well, I pussyed out, so I took a back handspring instead of a backflip, but I still landed on my back.

The music stopped and I took my final pose on my feet with my hand in the air showing a peace sign.

"Wow, you really have improved after being gone for so long, huh Y/n" Aki praised. "Thanks, but I wussed out on my last move. Ughh, that's just annoying" I held my head low because I was so mad at myself for not making it. "Hold your head high Y/n, you were amazing" Aki praised me again.

Aki always knew how to get my mood up, he's like the brother I always wanted, not that I have a brother anyway, I am an only child, which is nice. "Thanks, Aki" I smiled at him and we hugged. "No problem. I don't like seeing you disappointed, anyways let's hear who the winner is" "Yeah"

We went up to Jiro before he announced the winner. "And the winner is Y/n!!" Jiro announced. "What?" I was shocked because Aki did it way better than me. Jiro took my hand and lifted it in the air. After a second, I started to cheer because I won over Aki. "Take that Aki," I said showing my tongue at him. "Oh, shut it Y/n" Me and Aki laughed.

I didn't win anything, nor did the crowd, because the people that watched us only wanted entertainment, and not bet anything for money. That's why I love these kinds of people, they aren't betting, they are just watching to have fun.

All I win is a reputation for being this week's winner, and nothing more.

No one's POV:
While everyone was cheering Y/n, it was two boys who watched the battle from a distance. "That's the boy Izana is talking about, Y/n" A boy with blond hair with a few blue stripes in it, and glasses asked the boy beside him. "Yes, that's Y/n L/n, he's as cute as I thought he would be," The boy with black and blond braided hair said.

"Yeah" was all that was said before they left.

Y/n POV:
"Am home" I yelled, but I got no response. I went to the kitchen to see a note, on the note it read 'Dinner in the fridge, will be home tomorrow morning, love you- mom (heart)'

"Love you too mom," I said without her hearing it. "Oo, ramen noodles, yes thanks mom"

I went to heat them in the microwave for 1 minute. Taking them out and lying down on the sofa, where I would spend 3 hours. "It's already 21:00/9 pm, I should go to bed, but a small trip to the arcade shouldn't hurt" I put on a jacket and went to the arcade.

"Game night!"
