(Easily one of the best songs in the soundtrack)
The rusty doors of the elevator opened to allow Elster and you to enter a barely lit waiting room
Before you began your descent, you figured something valuable might be on the upper floor. It didn't hurt to check
And there was, but not in the way you were expecting. You found a corpse of a corrupted Replika on the corner of the room, dragged, by the looks of the bloody trail. Sitting on one of the orange chairs in the middle of the room, was the schoolgirl that you had encountered once before, holding a knife
"Isa...?"
The brunette turned at the mention of her name and offered you a charming smile
Isa: Ah, It's you again! I'm glad you're still okay
Both of you lowered your weapons at the sight of her and began to approach her. You took notice of the blood splatter on the chairs next to hers, yet she looked completely unfazed
You: What are you doing here?
While you talked with her, Elster took notice of the small box of ammo. It belonged to a shotgun
Isa: I'm just catching my breath. What about you?
She tapped the seat next to hers with that same friendliness. Reluctantly, you took her offer
Isa: Have you found what you're looking for? I'm looking for someone too. My sister...
You: Your sister?
LSTR: We haven't found anyone else yet
She nodded in understanding and then looked at you
Isa: If you see her, could you tell her I'm looking for her?
You: Of course. What does she look like?
But rather than an answer, she gave you a giggle
Isa: Don't worry you'll recognize her when you see her
But this same friendly attitude shifted once something crossed her mind. Something strong enough to erase her smile
Isa: Have you ever wondered if you're speaking to someone for the last time without knowing? I wish I could go back, so I could say something else
Her gaze grew heavy as she looked off into the distance. You tilted your head at her sudden shift in behavior
It was clear that she was in distress, who wouldn't in this situation? What you found odd was her friendly attitude on top of it. A coping mechanism, you figured
Isa: This place... is very strange, isn't it? I wonder what happened here but it doesn't really matter
Elster and you exchanged glances before you looked back at the girl
You: Isa, why don't you come with us? We can keep you safe
You spoke without hesitation. Your words cut through her train of thought like butter, much to her surprise, but as she took your words in, she shook her head
Isa: You don't need to worry about me, I can take care of myself now. I can't keep relying on others
Slowly, she glanced down at the stained knife in her hands
Isa: That's why she left me after all... I'm sure of that now
The Replika kept herself busy by trying to access the three doors that surrounded the room, only to find a red flash in all three of their screens. There was nowhere to go on this floor
