NATALIE SAT AT HER DESK, it being piled up with makeup, markers for art, and mechanical pencils for homework since she was still in public school. She was filling in the lines of a drawing she made, it was a dolphin jumping out of the water that was for her little sister.

It was the summer of 2021, and Natalie was about to start school soon.

"Hey, monkey!" her one brother, Nate, barged in with her other brother. Nate and Nathan. She always thought her parents were so unoriginal with the matching names. Her little sister was also named Nora, so their parents really stuck to a theme.

"Get out, I'm drawing for Nora." she said, not looking up from the paper.

"Did you get the part?" Nathan questioned as he sat on her purple bed blanket. He was the more respectful boy in the triplets, Nate being completely rude with no filter.

"Haven't checked. Wanna do it with me?" Natalie asked, opening up her computer and scooting over in her seat so Nathan could sit down. He scooted into her seat with just enough room so both could fit.

"Yeah." Nathan replied and took control of the computer as Natalie put away the marker and closed the sketchbook.

"Check my emails." Natalie ordered as she leaned back and pulled her legs down from her chest. She was wearing a t-shirt and jean shorts with some nike socks since it was summer and they barely had air conditioning.

"Okay." Nathan clicked on gmails and clicked on the one she hasn't opened yet.

"Shit, Nat. You got the part." Nate pointed it out.

"Wait, deadass?" Natalie immediately took the computer and read it in her head.

"Nat, oh, my God! You got it!" Nathan hugged her, Natalie hugging back.

"Bro, I sucked. I thought I wouldn't get it. Who rigged it?" Natalie joked and laughed.

"You're just that amazing." Nathan said.

"I should try acting, you know? They'd just give me the part because of how gorgeous I am." Nate flexed his muscles as he wasn't wearing a shirt.

"Yeah, sure." Natalie chuckled.

"Nora!" Nathan called out. Nora came running in, her little red skirt going up and down as she ran.

"You called?" Nora said in a sassy tone. Nate rolled his eyes and sat on Natalie's bed.

"Yeah, he did." Nate sighed.

"Shut up, Nate!" Natalie whisper-yelled, not wanting one of their dumb arguments right now.

"I wasn't asking you, beyotch." Nora turned away.

"Call me that again, I'm telling dad." Nate threatened.

"Oh, yeah? Beyotch." Nora expected him to not tell.

She underestimated.

"Dad!" Nate yelled, using his full lung power.

"Shut your whale of a mouth, Nate." Nora said and ran to her room.

"Really?" Natalie sighed, ready for the lecture she was about to hear.

"Whats wrong again? It's my one day off and you guys are already being annoying. What's wrong?" their dad asked as he peeked into Natalie's room.

"Natalie got the part." Nathan said something before Nate did.

"Really? Come here honey, good job." their dad held his arms out open, Natalie walking up to him and embracing his hug.

"Uh, but I do need everything out, we've got a zoom call to get on and I need to get ready. Love you guys, but get out please." Natalie said, shooing them out of her room. She sighed and unmade her bed after they were all out, jumped in it, and took a nap.

NATALIE WOKE UP AND GRABBED her phone from her oak wood side table her dad made her, seeing about 10 missed calls from the same person over and over. She clicked on it and it started calling him.

"Natalie Cater!" Walker yelled into the phone. Walker was one of her best friends, then meeting online and realizing they live close, so they became friends. They were best friends.

"I just woke up, chill. Whats going on? Apocalypse? New season of Outer Banks confirmed?" Natalie yapped, since she just woke up and was still tired.

"No, but new movie announced. Can you guess who's in it and didn't tell me?" Walker said sassily.

"Who?" Natalie asked, not taking the hint.

"You, dummy!" Walker replied.

"Oh, sorry. After I found out, I took a nap. I was very tired. I just woke up, ya' know? Surprised Nate hasn't though." Natalie explained.

"Whatever. I'm coming over to your house right now, I'm getting ready. Are you dressed?" Walker questioned as Natalie heard stomping in the background of the call.

"Yeah, I still have the clothes on I had before, I'll just brush my hair and shit." Natalie responded.

"Alright, see you there, love you." Walker said and then Natalie heard a door open, and she knew it was Walkers front door.

"Love you too." Natalie said and hung up. "That boy."

"Okay, and the role is?" Walker questioned as he sat on Natalie's bed.

"Addison Arellano. Robin Arellano's step sister who's the same age, really close to him, major thing I have to do is cry at the end because they found Robins body. I'll just think of your face and I'll cry." Natalie explained as she sat against her backboard.

"Shut up. As Nora says, 'shut your whale of a mouth' and eats it up everytime." Walker mocked.

"And I was just about to give you my reese's?" Nora said, standing in the doorway.

"You probably poisoned them, Nor. Don't mess with me, please." Walker chuckled and laid fully down on Natalie's bed.

"Shut your whale of a mouth!" Nora ran back to her room.

"Don't be shooting her down like that, you know she likes you." Natalie said seriously until breaking out into laughter.

"She's 10! Gross, Nat." Walker said as he laughed super hard.

"I'm just kidding, Walker!" Natalie said and held her stomach.

"Stop laughing about me! Only thing funny is your face!" Nora stood in the doorway and yelled again, Walker and Natalie only laughing harder.

"Nora, I'm dying, please leave." Natalie begged through laughs and breathes.

"No. You deserve to die." Nora crossed her arms and Walker immediately laughed even harder and kicked his feet up.

"Now, me personally." Walker said between strained laughs.

"Stop!" Natalie laughed.

"What is this?" Nate said as he walked into the room with Nathan. "Nora, did they see your face and are laughing now?"

"Shut your whale of a mouth, Nate!" Nora yelled and officially ran to her room and slammed the door. All the teens started laughing together over the little girls fit.
