MASON WAS SITTING IN MIGUELS hotel room, them hanging out. Natalie was taking a nap in their hotel room, so Mason decided to leave and give her a break.

"So, what's up with you and Natalie?" Miguel asked, emphasizing Natalie's name.

"What do you mean?" Mason acted clueless, scrolling on Instagram.

"You know what I mean." Miguel said, rolling his eyes at Mason.

"No, I don't." Mason continued the act.

"Just answer, it's not like I'm an interviewer." Miguel tried to convince him.

"Fine. We... almost kissed." Mason said, Miguel gasping and jaw dropping. "But then Tristan kind of ruined it."

"Oh." Miguel said, grinnning at Mason.

"But then we went to that stupid party, I got drunk when Natalie told me not to drink that stupid punch, which is super embarrassing because then she did something that I don't even remember. Tristan got me there, though." Mason explained.

Miguel took out his phone and Mason got nervous as Miguel started quickly typing.

"Hello?" Mason heard from the phone, recognizing it as Tristan.

"Come to my hotel room, now, please." Miguel said.

"Uh, okay, I'll bring my cosmic brownies." Tristan responded, Miguel hanging up.

"HI!" TRISTAN EXCLAIMED AS HE walked into the hotel room, a box of cosmic brownies in his left hand and his phone in his right.

"Hey, Tristan." Mason smiled at him, looking back down at the mobile game he was playing.

"Tristan, look what you did." Miguel pointed at Mason.

"What?" Tristan asked, hesitating to sit down on Miguel's bed.

"Mason almost kissed Natalie and you decided to knock on her door to invite them to a stupid party even you didn't go to." Miguel explained.

"I did? Oh, my God, I'm going to kill myself, I didn't know that! You should've just ignored me and kissed her." Tristan said and took out a brownie.

"It's not that big of a deal, Natalie and I are still fine, I bet we were just tired, like I am right now, so I'm going to go back and take a nap." Mason stood up and walked over to Tristan, reaching into the box.

"No!" Tristan exclaimed.

"What's with you and yelling?" Mason asked and continued to try to reach for it, Tristan moving it away every time successfully.

"Only if you go back in that hotel room and kiss her, I'll give you a couple." Tristan said, and that really got Mason. He stood there and thought of a clap-back.

"I guess I'm not getting a brownie, then." Mason said and walked out of the hotel room with no such thing as hesitation in his mind.

"Mason, come on!" Tristan yelled down the hallway, desperate to see Mason and Natalie together.

"No!" Mason said and went into Natalie's room that he was sharing with her. He found Natalie limp on the bed, breathing super soft and her in some fuzzy pajama pants with a black hoodie. He didn't know how she was doing that in the summer, but he just changed into some shorts and a white t-shirt and hopped under the covers.

MASON WOKE UP ALONE IN the bed, which must've meant Natalie went somewhere. He opened up his phone, getting a notification from the group chat Tristan made.
