Jeff's POV _
I went back to the hall. Bib and Jemi are standing side by side. Bib is smiling but it's not his real smile. Somehow he's holding the pain with it.
I took a deep breath. Jemi comes towards me.
"Hia... I'll go home today. I missed mom and dad and you. I also talked with Bib. He's ready to let me stay for 2 days."
"Ok. Then I'll pay a visit to mom and dad tomorrow."
"Ok. We're heading back then. Don't forget to visit tomorrow."
I nodded. They left.
The party almost ended.
But I can't find Vegas. After dinner I haven't seen him. He's not at the party venue.
Most of the people are staying in this hotel rooms.
I have to find him. I have to clear things up with him as soon as possible. I can't lie to him. I can't lie to my own feelings.
How can I push him away after 3 years of our relationship? But Bib already took away my heart. How can I deny that?
I fall for My childhood bestie, My brother-in-law.. it's such a shame! But still I can't deny.
And now I can't find Vegas. Where's he?
I was about to pass a room. I halted when I heard some words.
"What about the moments we spent together? What about the promise we made?.. You promised me that we'll be together.. but now you're denying! Why?"
"I'm sorry... I don't mean to but... I can't cheat on him...He's innocent. He trusts me."
"Fine... Just answer me... Do you love me?"
"...."
"Answer me!!! You love me... Or.. him?"
"Kimhan... I.. love you... I really do... But..."
"But what?! I'm not telling you to cheat on him... If you love me and keep pretending to be his boyfriend then It'll be cheating... Why don't you break-up with him? You should clear yourself to him first."
"How can I? It's not easy..."
"You should've thought that before you approached me... Now I love you.. and you can't just push me away like this, Vegas... You can't do this to me..."
I took a deep breath, opened the door and entered. Both of them look at me in shock.
"Je... Jeff!!"
"I was... Passing by..."
"Jeff... Listen to me... It's... The things between me and Kimhan.."
"I wanted to talk about something..."
They looked at each other. I sit down in bed.
After a few moments in silence I spoke up.
"Since when... You guys are in touch? And why didn't you tell me before?"
Vegas comes towards me and kneeled down. He holds my hands.
"Jeff... Actually... Kimhan is my childhood crush. I always liked him further than our cousin's relationship. But it was something I didn't pay attention to.
We've working on our mission together for last 2 months. We slept together one night by accident. Since then I just... Don't know why but that little crush bloomed into something more.
I know you and I are in a relationship for last 3 years but still I... I couldn't help but to fall for him. It's not like I cheated you for these years. I love you.
But now... There's a lack of attraction... Believe me I never want us to end up here. I never meant to hurt you. I just don't know what to do. Please forgive me."
I took a deep breath. At least he's being truthful. I have to told him everything.
"Don't apologize... I have to confess something as well... I know all the moments we shared are one of the best moments in my life. You make me happy enough. But... Lately I'm also struggling with the feelings I have for you...
We rarely gave time to each other and somehow this caused the breakdown. I also didn't want us to end up here. I wanted a family with you but now I feel... There's a gap between us.
The love we have can be compared as a friendship I guess... I was going to ask you to take a break from our relationship. So I can think clearly... I didn't know how to tell you..."
"Jeff... You sure that what you are saying is not because of me and Kimhan?"
"Yeah... I was about to talk with you... I'm sorry for holding you back, Vegas."
"No baby... Don't say that..."
"I promised to you that I will let you go if you find someone better than me. And I think I have to keep that promise now... Don't hold yourself back for me.. go and grab the person you love... I just want to see you happy."
Tears are flowing from our eyes. Tears from his eyes fall on the back of my hands.
"Hey... Don't cry... We're still friends. Everything will be alright... Kim... Please take care of my honey and love him more than me. Don't let him go."
He nodded.
I smiled at the crying person then placed a kiss on his forehead.
"Thanks for all the things you gave me. It'll be always special to me."
"Thanks to you, Jeff... For everything."
He hugged me tight.
Yeah I'm a bit sad but I'm relieved because we don't have to lie to each other anymore.
Now it's time to clear my feelings towards someone else.
