Write a poem when I get home.
My thoughts are loud when I'm alone.
I smile to myself, letting sorrow seep from every bone.
Wind in my hair. Eyes to the sky.
The world seem brighter, my shoulders feel lighter.
I can breathe again, I refuse to leave this zen.
For once I feel alive, approaching life with one big dive.
My heart pounding in my ears, hands brushing away my tears.
'Cause I have tried and tried again, to be the person everyone wants, but nothing works.
As I hide my quirks, I bend over backwards, I twist and I turn.
But even from rejection I will now learn.
My heart, once shattered, now mending, a forgotten message worth sending.
Long before the world starts ending, let your mind forget what's trending.
Today I'm free, and I will see, to put up a fight, until the world is put right.
Their arrogant egos will burn and all the hurt will earn: well deserved voices, and power over their choices.
A fresh united universe. A beautiful kingdom, so diverse.
Everyone, feeling now alive, and ready to take that one big dive.
