Apology

Just a quick apology,

like phoenix Greek mythology.

Tryna come back from something bad,

really tryna hope I didn't make you sad.

I know I made you worry,

I know I made a mess,

I want to say I'm sorry,

so darling please don't stress.

I want make things better

I want to make you smile.

Won't hide in this big sweater,

I'll come out for a while.

Let's please not fight,

I wanna do this right.

Let me know if you're angry, and I guess I'll leave your sight.

Coming back when things are calm,

but that doesn't mean I'm permanently gone.

Promise I'll try, effort and all

Won't just cry or put up another wall.

Ask and I'll tell you.

But must the answer be true?

Wonder if you'll forgive my, for the billionth time,

wonder if you see the truth in every single rhyme.

Can't explain it in a poem,

but let just say this don't feel like home.

But I push through everyday,

one more time, and I hope you'll stay.

So I'll just say I'm sorry if this takes too much time.

I don't want to make you worry,

so I keep it in this rhyme.

I'd drop all my plans if you need a helping hand

Stay up all night, until you feel alright.

With you I know I wanna make this work,

cause you accept my every quirk.

I want you to know how special you are,

and I'm always gonna be here and no matter how far.

So I guess this wasn't quick,

but it's what I should  say.

And when life plays a trick,

I know we'll find a way.

This poem might not flow,

and well maybe it's too slow,

but I mean it as it's said,

and can't keep it in my head.

Also don't forget to breathe

lol annoyed? Don't seethe.

Yes, I know, I get on your nerve

but it's kind of what my friends deserve

So I guess that's all for now,
