MAHIKA'S POV

I awoke at 4 a.m.; Luna was still sleeping like a baby, so I went to the washroom to freshen myself. I exited my bathroom and dressed comfortably. From my room's windows, I can see that it is still dark outside, so I prepared myself some tea. I know tea is bad for my health, but my love of chai is something different.

I can hear birds tweeting, and the soothing sound of rustling bushes is something I always like. I usually go to the gym or do yoga at his time, but today I want to relax and enjoy these minutes before taking on everyone's responsibilities.

I'm still unsure about everything that's going on, but it's the master's choice, and all I can do is work hard to make him proud. I got my mug and headed out to the herb garden, which is one of my favourite spots in the palace.

From the corner of my eye, I notice Luna strolling towards me, yawning; she is still a baby. I stroke her favourite spot behind her ears, and she leans on my hands. This girl has ripped more human hearts than animals but look at her acting like a kitten around me.

I felt a zephyr pass by. This is what I enjoy, and I hope that someday that unknown missing thing or someone experiences this with me. I set my empty cup on the table and began to stroll about, while Luna raced towards the forest, maybe to hunt or something.

For the time being, I hummed some Alankar and raag to relax my mind and spirit.

I was so lost in it that I did not notice my watch vibrating, I looked at it to find a message of Grandpa telling me to come into my room so, I ran as fast as I could.

When I reached my room, I found my grandparents with Uncle Vikram and Aunt Siya. I walked towards them and took their blessing by touching their feet and like always they told me ' Ghar ki Laxmi Per nhi Sparsh Krti, Apne Narayan Ke Alawa'

I sat on the floor near their feet as they sat on the bed's edge. I playfully shook my head and said teasingly," mere narayan pata nhi kab milenge tb tk to Ashirwad lene dijiye aur vese bhi aap Bhudhe ho gye h an?"

( I don't know when I will find my Narayan ( other half) at least until then Lemme take your blessings by touching your feet because you are so old now."

Grandpa and Uncle Vikram dramatically held their chest and Uncle Vikram said," Itni Bhari Jawani me budha bol dia aaj beti ne, Kalyug bhai sahab Kalyug." to which Grandpa said," Exactly, look at me Vikram, Still glowing. Maybe she is jealous that we are this cool at this age." We all burst into laughter. Later on, they proceeded to wish me, 'Happy Birthday'

I laid my head on Siya Ma's lap and asked them," Did you guys want to discuss something important, You should have called me instead." Siya Ma stroked my head and said," Beta, We all wanted to ask something." I told them to ask me anything.

Grandpa and Vikram Da kneeled beside me and said," My dear, you know that we will never want anything bad for you." I nodded my head and softly said, "Yes." Vikram Da explained to me how they made a promise and wanted me to think about it. Hana ma said," My dear, no one is forcing you. You can deny it if you want." while caressing my cheeks.

I took a deep breath and replied," I believe in you all more than anyone in this world and I know you would never even think anything bad for me, I will marry Rana sa, but I have only 1 regret."
