it's no secret that, after your grandfather blew your family's generational wealth in some ridiculous way, your family has been struggling ever since. you tried everything you could to provide for you and your family—and ended up playing soccer as your main source of income. people watched you play—amazed at your young age and undeniable talent. it wasn't so much your skills playing that caught other's attention, but rather, the way you helped others grow even during a short 90 minute match that made you stand out in a bright light. however, after a freak car crash that permanently ruined your legs, you slink back into the shadows, back to a mediocre 9 to 5 job at a small gas station. it isn't until one day, you receive a letter in the mail—from a place called Blue Lock, asking you to help manage rising stars. you were no coach, but they paid good—real good—and you just couldn't say no, even if you were stuck with the lowest of the low, bottom of the barrel. 

OR

you end up managing team z and—after so long—finally end up loving sport again.

yes, i know that the manager thing is a bad plot line and ends up with a lot of inconsistencies. do i give a fuck absolutely not lol

i was going to do a pretends to be a guy but is a girl thingy but like oh my gawddd its so overused. like every single story is that. and i just cant. bangs head against wall 
also being the only girl in a guy-oriented place is just kind of silly lol. i mean rn i only write for fem readers... but it could change in the future dk.

i automatically assume every person who hates on women [ON WATTPAD!!! WHEN THEY ARE NOT EXPLICITLY HORRIBLE PEOPLE!!!] are sexist and this will not. stop. until the day i die. also wattpad comment sections in books like these are very extremely sexist lol so like don't bring that energy here thanks!

26/3/24 update — i have lost a battle of willpower and micheal kaiser is now a lover interest. sorry to the pookies out there. the mole-rat haircut is looking a lil too good to me. i blame the illustrator for making him sexy

I AM USING DUB. i am a religious dub watcher and i will not stop no matter what anybody says. dub is just better for blue lock its so funny
