Donna Beneviento has always been a shy, introverted girl, even before the cadou had taken over her body. But now, with the added burden of having to control Angie, her doll, she had become almost mute. It was a rare occasion when she spoke, and when she did, it was only through Angie's voice.

She lives a secluded life, surrounded by her dolls and the plants that she loved to tend to. The only person who ever came into her garden was her gardener, Marlene. Marlene was a kind, friendly woman who had been working for Donna for the past few years. She had grown used to the silence that surrounded Donna and her dolls, and Donna had grown used to the soft hum of Marlene's voice as she tended to the plants.

But there was always a sense of distance between the two of them. Donna's shyness and Marlene's friendly personality never quite meshed. Donna knew that she should try to be more sociable with her gardener, but her shyness always got the better of her.

One day, as Marlene was tending to the plants, she climbed up a ladder to reach a particularly tall flower. As she reached out to pick it, she lost her balance and fell from the ladder. Donna, who had been watching from a distance, rushed over to her side. Marlene was injured and couldn't move. Donna carefully lifted her up and carried her to her bed.

Donna had never been so close to Marlene before. As she tended to her injuries, she couldn't help but feel drawn to her. Marlene was kind and caring, and had always treated her with respect. Donna had never really been attracted to anyone before, but as she looked at Marlene, she felt something stir inside her.

Over the next few days, Donna tended to Marlene's injuries. Marlene was grateful for the care and attention, and the two of them began to talk more. Donna found herself opening up to Marlene in a way she never had before. She told her about her fears and insecurities, and Marlene listened, offering comforting words and a reassuring smile.

As Donna began to spend more time with Marlene, she realized that she was in love with her. It was a strange feeling, one that she had never experienced before. She had always been so focused on her dolls and her plants that she had never even considered the possibility of falling in love.

But as she sat by Marlene's bedside and held her hand, she knew that she couldn't ignore her feelings any longer. She had to tell Marlene how she felt.

One evening, as they sat together in Donna's garden, Donna summoned the courage to speak. "Marlene," she said through Angie's voice, "I need to tell you something."

Marlene looked at her, her expression gentle and kind. "What is it, Donna?"

Donna took a deep breath. "I...I think I'm in love with you," she said, her words barely above a whisper.

Marlene's eyes widened in surprise, but she didn't look away. "Donna, I...I don't know what to say," she said.

Donna felt her heart pounding in her chest. She had never been so vulnerable before. "I know it's strange," she said, "but I can't help how I feel. I care about you so much."

Marlene looked at her for a long moment, then reached out and took her hand. "Donna," she said softly, "I care about you too. You're such a kind and caring person, and I'm grateful for everything you've done for me."

Donna felt a surge of hope in her chest. "Does that mean...do you feel the same way?" she asked.

Marlene smiled at her. "I'd like to get to know you better, Donna," she said. "I think we could be good for each other."

Donna felt a smile spread across her face, one of the first genuine smiles she had ever had in her life. "Thank you, Marlene," she said. "Thank you for giving me a chance."

Over the next few weeks, Donna and Marlene grew closer. They spent hours talking in the garden, getting to know each other on a deeper level. Donna found that she had so much to share with Marlene, so many thoughts and feelings that she had kept bottled up for so long.

Marlene was patient and understanding, always willing to listen and offer support whenever Donna needed it. And Donna found that, with Marlene by her side, she felt more comfortable in her own skin. She still struggled with her shyness, but with Marlene's help, she was learning to open up and enjoy life in a way she had never been able to before.

As the days passed, Donna and Marlene's relationship deepened. They laughed together, shared intimate moments, and explored the garden that Donna had created with so much care and love. And throughout it all, Angie was always there, watching over them with her silent gaze.

Donna didn't know what the future held for her and Marlene, but she knew one thing for sure: she was grateful for every moment they spent together. With Marlene by her side, she finally felt like she belonged in the world, like she had found someone who understood her more than anyone else ever had.

And as she looked into Marlene's eyes, feeling the warmth of her touch, Donna knew that she was finally ready to let go of her fear and embrace the love that had been waiting for her. She finally had her little gardener.
