HOT TO GO
Chappell Roan

"H - O - T - T - O - G - O!" Daisy sung into her hair brush as Missy did the actions across from her, wearing something ridiculous from her closer, "..you can take me hot to go!" Missy collapsed into laughter collapsing into her bed.

"We are so going to be late." Daisy collapsed into a spot beside Missy, "And I still don't have anything to wear." She sighed sitting back up brushing her hair behind her ears.

"Why didn't you say anything." Missy strode across the room pulling out a short dress shoving it into Daisy's open hands. "This one, let's go!" Missy moved on quickly leaving Daisy alone in Missy's room.

Slipping the dress on, Daisy tugged a jacket over her arms following Missy out of the room toward her bathroom. Thankfully Missy's brother happily dropped to the two girls off at the gatho, Missy linking arms as they walked.

"Drink, Daisy?" Missy skipped with a sheepish smile already having downed two drinks on the way in, "I'll take that as a yes.." Daisy had slowed her pace once she spotted a familiar car in the distance. Shit, "Daisy! Hello." Daisy unlinked her arm from Missy's looking in the opposite direction to distract Missy.

"I'll meet you in there Miss, have to smoke." The lie left her lips easily and Missy nodded entering the music filled place. Turning her head back towards him she grimaced.

His hand hung out the window between his fingers a joint as he waved her over. She didn't want to go over but she didn't have a choice. He'd just turn up to her house.

"What do you want." She hugged her jacket around herself tighter as she stopped a meter off from the car. Chook brought the joint to his lips exhaling, his eyes dragging over her figure.

"Hope you're not drinking too much tonight," She went to take a step back but stopped as his free hand reached out holding a tight grip on your wrist, "Come closer Daisy, I won't bite." She wasn't even sure how he'd known her name. They'd met once or twice but Cash would've never mentioned her.

"I'd doubt that, dog." He pulled her closer into the car now Daisy attempting to pry his fingers from her wrist.

"Just checking up on you and your Nan. Figured I owe my boy." She hated him, truly still pulling at her wrist. Cash would kill him if he knew.

"..you don't owe him shit. Just leave us alone." She cried out when his blunt nails dug into her wrist tugging her almost through the window of the car.

"The only reason I'm not taking this further is cause of Cash." Her fingers hovered over her phone but with his grip on her wrist she couldn't dial the numbers. Regaining her composure she spat.

"I'm not afraid of you adlay, Cash doesn't change that." She yanked her arm from his fingers storming back to the gathering. Trying to ignore the horrible gut feeling she made her way into the party snagging a drink from Missy who was busy stopping Sasha from starting fights with her opinions.

"Fucking hell!" She tugged the dress down before clutching her drink tighter weaving through drunk students. The voice was growing closer as he cursed again, "Daisy!" He called nearby as she shoved past a couple finally spotting her boyfriend.

"Spencer?" Running a shaky hand through his hair, his head snapped to the side seeing Daisy. With a very strides he made his way over to her steadying himself as he rested his hands on her waist, "are you.. are you okay?" He was breathing heavily, eyes darting around anxiously.

"Spencer!" His eyes met hers, the teen finally exhaling once he was sure there was no threat around them.

"Where the hell-" He gulped,  "Where the hell have you been Daisy... there was a bird- and fucking Amerie- you know how I feel.." He had to stop to inhale again wiping the sweat from his forehead.

"Pause!" She collected her thoughts, turning her head from the alcohol stench fumed from Spider's breath,  "Amerie had a bird?" She couldn't hide her smirk at his irrational fear.

"You're laughing at me!" He scoffed in disbelief, Daisy shaking her head as she held in a small laugh.

"I'm not! I'm not I promise. Are you okay Spencer?" He begun to flush red, feeling a little ridiculous as he smiled, "That's no fair! You're laughing." She admitted with a stomp of her foot.

"I'm not.. I'm just happy you're here smart girl." He ruffled her hair playfully earning himself a slap on the hand from his girlfriend.

"Will you still be happy if we leave?" She offered him a small grin as she rocked on her feet, "We- We don't have to.. I just." Spider shook his head looking around the party a moment.

"Let's get out of here." He agreed searching for Ant, his hand on the small of her back as he led her towards their mutual friend, "Ant? Ready to go?" They exchanged a few words before Daisy and Spider left, their fingers interwined.
