Do girls really mature faster than boys? Or do we as a sociality force them to?

It's about time to think about this. Why do girls grow up fastr?
Is it because of greater mental maturity?
Is it because of their care?
  Is it because of empathy?
Is it out of concern for others?
Or is just what we as sociality expect from them?

The problem isn't just the problematic expectation of adulthood from young women, but the slow complete erasure of their childhood.
From a young age, they should be neat, decent and temperate.
Adult models and influencers are becoming icons and even though it's perfectly fine to play with makeup, you have to wonder if they aren't subconsciously pushed a standard of beauty since kindergarden.

While it's possible that physiclly and mentally are women ahead, that does not mean that society should automatlicallly expect everyhing it expects. Girls are sexualized from a young age and the world places strict standards on their bodies from the moment they become aware of their self-image. They are expected to play with dolls, take care of them and learn how to be a mother. They are expected to act grown-up, polished, while their brothers can build sand castles and fight, because they are boys after all.
