Jisoo POV

Jisoo is very excited to go into the office; she will meet Jennie later, and she has a very brilliant idea about the work that she will offer Jennie.

"Hey Nancy, please cancel all my meetings today" while smiling.

"Oh, boss, you look so happy today. Are you in love? "Nancy asked. Nancy has a secret admiration for Jisoo. They've been working together for like 4 years now, but she cannot say it to Jisoo because she knows Jisoo is such a player and she doesn't have a chance. Most of her dates are models or elite people.

"Well, maybe, or maybe not," and she went to her office.

Jennie POV

They went to the hospital and ran the test, and now she is about to know the result.

"Jennie, I'm sorry, but Goo-yung has stage 2 leukemia. But don't worry, we can still try to cure it; however, we cannot promise you anything. We just need to find a bone marrow donor and do the surgery. There is still a chance; don't lose hope. But I wanted to be straight-forward with you: this operation will cost a lot. You have to be ready for $400,000," the doctor explained.

"I will do everything just to make him live, even if it costs my entire life." It tears her up inside.

She went home and went to Jisoo's office.

"Hi, I have an appointment with Ms. Kim Jisoo," Jennie asked Nancy.

"Owww, what is your name? "Nancy asked, and looking at her, I thought she might be one of Jisoo's toys for today.

"Tell her it is Jennie Kim. Thanks," she smiles in response to Nancy.

"Okay, she said, just go to her office this way, at the first door on the right."

Jisoo POV

"Hey, how are you? "Jisoo hugged her, but Jennie didn't hug her back. Jennie is so cold to her.

"What's the matter?

"I wanted to be frank with you. What work can you offer me that can help me earn $400k? That is the money that I badly need. I can do anything for you. I can clean your house and your entire building. I can be your slave; just please tell me, please." She can't help but cry and kneel because she is too exhausted thinking about how she can have that money.

"Jennie, don't do this; stand up, please come here. I can help you with that, but may I know why you need this much money so badly? Are you in debt? Please tell me." She is worried about Jennie.

"I have a son."

Jisoo was shocked; she didn't know all about this.

"He is sick, and I need that money for his surgery," and she cries again.

Jisoo feels that she was betrayed. She's thinking that Jennie is married, and she didn't tell her that. They kissed last night. And she's thinking that Jennie is making her feel like a mistress. But she badly wants Jennie—everything about Jennie. So she came up with this idea.

"I will give you the money that you need for everything! But in one condition, in one week, you will have to stay with me and do anything that I want." While looking at Jennie and in Jisoo's mind, YOU PLAYED ME, YOU THINK I'M A FOOL? No, I WILL GIVE YOU THE GAME YOU REQUESTED.

Jennie was shocked by the offer. Last night, Jisoo was so gentle with her, and now she doesn't know why it seems like this is no longer Jisoo, whom she knows. But she doesn't have a choice. "I will do everything for you."

"Don't worry, baby, I got you." while touching Jennie's chin and jaw and kissing it. "Just be ready. You have to come back tomorrow, and here is the money."

"No, I just need $400k, not $1 million. This is too much." I tried to give back the check.

"I told you money is not an issue for me. Just take it; you might need it after his operation for other expenses, or you can make it into business after you work for me so that you no longer need to work at that cheap pub and coffee shop. Jennie still can't believe her behavior; this is not Jisoo.

And Jennie leaves.

This is the reason why Jisoo is afraid to fall in love. She always feels that they are just using her. She cannot earn real love like what her father told her. She just cries after Jennie leaves. She thought Jennie was the one, but why did she let her kiss her even though she was married?
