After 3 months, Jisoo went back to her work life. She traveled to some countries to move on. But she can't still do it. She wished that she met Jennie in a different situation and at a different time.
Lisa and Seulgi visited Jisoo.
"Oh, hey, welcome back. Are you feeling okay now?" Lisa worriedly asked Jisoo. Jisoo told them everything, and they are both concerned for Jisoo. This is the first time that Jisoo has really hurt a girl.
"Jis, we are always here for you, okay, no matter what happens. Besides, there are a lot of men and women there that you can meet. If you want, we can get one tonight," and Seulgi winked at Jisoo.
"You don't understand that I like her a lot. But I am okay now; I have to go back to reality, you know." Jisoo is trying to convince them that she is okay.
"Anyway, my dad already told you, right? We will go to some charity in the hospital, and you are one of the main sponsors, so they need you there. Also, dad says he misses you." Lisa excitedly tells Jisoo they are that close.
"I know, let's go before traffic hits," Jisoo said, but she still didn't feel well.
"But we will go to the club later, right? "Soulagi is still pushing this idea.
"Sure, but charity first. Let's be a good Samaritan for now."
They went to the hospital, and one doctor explained something to Jisoo because there was one patient who was successfully cured in their hospital.
son, Kim,.Kim that lady is very inspirational. She did everything to get the surgery done on his son though it cost her a lot. She is a single mom with a brave heart; she does it all alone to gather all the money. Thankfully, we have someone like you that has sponsored this charity now, so we can help people like her with some expenses. The surgery was successful, and her son is now cancer-free. There she is. Let me introduce you to her." The doctor pointed to a lady that looks familiar to Jisoo.
"Hey, Miss Jennie, come here. Let me introduce you, Miss Kim. She is one of the main sponsors of the charity for cancer patients."
Jennie was shocked and tense, too. She promised Jisoo that they wouldn't see each other again.
"Hi, thank you for your kind heart, Ms. Kim, and I have to go, sorry." Jennie walked away.
"Dude, that was Jennie. Come on, catch her. You need to talk to her idiot." Lisa pushes Jisoo.
Jisoo ran to catch Jennie, and she was able to grab her.
"Jennie, wait, please." Jisoo is panting.
"I'm sorry, I didn't know you were here. I'm really sorry," Jennie is pleading.
"No, I want you here." Jisoo doesn't know how to start. "So you are not married? You are a single mom, and your son has cancer. That's why you needed that money. "And look at Jennie.
Jennie chuckled. "So is that the reason why you are mad at me? Do you think I am married? Did I lie to you? "Jennie inhaled first and explained that Goo's father left me after she knew that I was pregnant; after that, I never heard of him. I am a single mom, not married, and yes, he had cancer. Thanks for your help because now he is cancer-free and he has leukemia." Jisoo is trying to respond, "And I didn't lie to you. I will never do that. I will never hurt you, Jisoo," and just as that, Jisoo's heart melted for Jennie and he kissed her. She holds Jennie so tight, and Jennie kisses her back. "Fuck, you have no idea how much I miss you. I went crazy without you, Jennie, please forgive me," and she kisses Jennie again, and this time Jennie kisses her back. Jennie touches her forehead to Jisoo and opens her eyes. "So am I forgiven?".
Jennie smiled and said, "I'll think about it." Jisoo hugged her, "Thank you. I'm so sorry I treated you that way. Let me make it up to you. Let's have dinner later."
Jennie was thinking "no," but she is smiling. Jisoo kneeled. "Please, please give me a chance."
Jennie burst into laughter. "Hey, get up. No, I will not join you for dinner because you will join us for dinner. Go to my home so you can see my entire family; besides, this is the least that I can do to thank you for all the help. My mom cooks good food."
Someone goes to Jennie and grabs her hand. "Mom, let's go home."
"Hey baby, I want you to meet someone. This is Jisoo. She's the one who helped mom get you cured. Say thank you, baby."
"Hi, Ms. Jisoo, thank you for saving my life. You are a hero." Goo-yung hugged her.
"Oh, you're welcome; it's my duty to save a cute little guy like you." Jisoo hugged him back.
"And she will join us for dinner later." Jennie is looking at Jisoo.
"Oh yeah, grandma cooks real good food; you will love it."
"Baby, go to Aunt Irene; I will follow you in a little while," Jennie commanded Goo.
"So next time you better ask than assume, and yes, I forgive you and I miss you," Jennie pecks on Jisoo's lips. "I'll text you the address; come around by 7 p.m.."
Jisoo can't help but smile, realizing how stupid she was.
