It was a beautiful day, and Kyra was the last one to wake up.
Max had stayed until she did, not wanting to leave her side just yet.
She was one of his only friends, besides Nikki and Neil. He seemed to take a new liking to Kyra but certainly didn't favor her over Nikki and Neil.
K: "Oh, you're still here... well, thanks for staying, I suppose...
Kyra said as he yawned, stretching her arms tiredly.*
As Kyra got up, Max followed behind her. As they walked out, everything seemed normal... for now.
As usual, David was giving the campers something to do. He was really trying his best when he didn't need to.
(and I'm not the only one to realize that)
Kyra and Max decided to do something else. Max was still following Kyra as she walked over to a craft area.
K: "Well, this is what I like to do. I like to craft things, draw, paint, and animate. Though, I can't really do that last one right now, haha... but that's okay."
M: "That's cool, I guess, but I can't really do art... I can't really do anything."
K: "Oh, come on, Max! Don't think that! You only can't because you don't believe in yourself enough! So what if it ends up bad? The effort and dedication are what counts!"
M: "Thanks... but can you teach me anyway? I never really cared about it."
K: "You don't have to care for it, and of course I'll teach you! Or do my best, at the very least, haha!"
Kyra then showed Max the ropes of art, starting off with a simple drawing.
Max struggled with it but seemed to improve a bit. It wasn't a lot, but it was enough for him to feel good about himself.
M: "I did it... I actually did it!"
K: "It's definitely a start, and a good one too!"
Kyra said, smiling happily as she looked at his artwork.
Meanwhile... in the far distance...
?: "They thought they could fool me by a fake X=mv6 telling me to go to 4nt4rt1c4! I talked with him and he told me that he would never tell me to do that! We'll they'll see... they'll see what it's like without Max and David around!"
Back with the campers...
Kyra was walking to David, going to ask him something until she spotted a strange man in the bushes. She decided to shrug it off and continue walking up to David.
K: "Hey David, can Max and me go to the lake?"
D: "Of course you can! As long as you two don't run off again."
K: "Thanks, and we won't."
They both then walked to the lake to have some time to theirselves.
As they were walking, Max decided to tell Kyra about his family life.
