Speed, reflexes, strength, sight, smell and hearing that s far superior to other species as they are the first "vampires" species.

Able to have children but only with those of the same species.

Curse is dormant until a certain age and only fully triggers at 30 years old.

Can scar as their healing is faster than humans but not as fast as the movies show, so don't be surprised if you see scars and even tattoos. 

Not allergic to garlic, silver, crosses or holy water.

Capable of eating the same things humans can and enjoy it but require blood to remain strong.

Dead man's blood is bad. 

Fire is bad for everyone, Vita Magra are no different. 

Like a werewolf, seperate the head from heart to permanently kill.

There is a poison that kills them, it was used on Kaarengale's husband but for safety it shall not be named. 

Those with weaker psychic powers can be compelled by stronger vampires.

The pure blooded vampires do not treat the turned poorly. The noble lines are only permitted to blend once ever 5 generations to avoid inbreeding, otherwise people are married into the bloodlines. 

The have no quarrel with werewolves, they consider that war to be ridiculous. 

Still prefer to be invited into the home but as they are alive, it's not required.

Blood willingly given is sweeter as it is not soured by fear. Certain supernatural creatures' blood may have effects similar to a human taking substances or drinking alcohol. Angel bloof is euphoric, demon blood is spicy and fae blood is like a sweet cinnamon roll freshly baked or at least, this is how fae blood tastes to Karengale. With this in mind, think of human blood like normal food or a microwave meal, it's filling but not gourmet.
