Chapter XII

"If they will let me, make sure to await me, as I will come and see you." The whole way towards the train station, I was rambling to Sejanus.

He surerly wanted me gone, as he propably thought that I talked way too much.

He was holding a bag with his belongings, while I was walking next to him with empty hands. He couldn't bring many things with hismelf, and that's the reason why he had just one. Which wasn't even packed to it's full potential.

We went now into the building, in which some persons were already parting with their beloved ones. For some, being a Peace Keeper was the only way to feed their family. And for people like Sejanus it was a blessing, because it was the lightest penalty.

We stopped after a few steps into the room as Sejanus turned to me.

He wasn't thrilled about this whole situation just like me.

"And don't forget to write me letters." I added hastily, being scared that he would go at any minute to have his name written down.

"Yes." A silly grin appeared on his face, as he semeed to have made his mind up about something.

Not bothering about people that were walking past, he flexed his head, to be on the same height as me. Only had I noticed what his intentions were after he smashed his lips onto mine. And all I could do was to stand there astonished at what just happened.

My eyes met his, as he straightened his back.

"I... what..." I was lost for words, as this wasn't how I imagined our first kiss to be.

It was nowhere near that.

He reached out his hand, putting his palm on my cheek, stroking it with his thumb. A small, almost apologizing smile appeared on his face.

"No matter how selfish it sounds, please, wait for me." He pleaded, deciding to add yet another words, which made my heart ache for him. "I will come back just for you with every pass we get."

"Yhym." I mumbeled, nodding my head.

He embraced me in a hug, one side of his cheek pressed pressed to mine, as we were going to part soon.

He whispered something to my ear, but I couldn't understand it due to the murmur around us.

I could only guess what he said.

He left me then, dissapearing in the train.

You told me to write you letters, so here it is. Would you belive me if I said that Coriolanus is a Pace Keaper here too? Although he doesn't want to share the reason as to why he is here.

And thank you for the sweets you made with my mum. It made my heart melt.

That you write me a letter means that I didn't accediantly put rat poison inside the batter which makes me relieved.

I hope that even thought you admire Coriolanus you will be wary being next to him.

And how does your everday look? I hope they aren't mean to you.
