Coach Berry cleared her throat loudly to get their attention which worked perfectly because a pin would be heard if dropped silently on the ground.
"Did I miss something because it sure as hell looks like I did", She glared at each one of them with a frown. "Anyway, I want y'all to meet a friend of mine", she continued as she nugged the black brunette girl to step forward. "She is Kimberly Gomez".
"And what is she supposed to do, babysit??".they burst out into hysterics when Adriana asked that rude sarcastic question.
"Well that would have been much better if she was in fact one and my job would have been much more easier since we both walked in on a bunch of kids throwing fits and arguing about nothing at all!!!".Coach Berry smirked after saying that and then continued when the room became quiet specifying that she had their absolute attention. "But unfortunately, sorry to burst your bubble kids but Miss.Kim here can do more than just babysit. As a matter of fact, she just got transferred here and will be joining us from now on". She noticed the sudden murmuring and curiousity oozing out of them. Liana was angry, and Adriana was pissed. Much difference. Coach Berry turned to talk to talk to Kim when Liana pulled on her shirt respectfully.
"Can I talk to you for a second?" Liana asked quietly to only her ears.
"Yeah sure, "They stood a few steps away from Kim but she could still hear them. "Whats up?".
Liana cleared her throat, " I don't mean to sound unreasonable but aren't we supposed to choose a new member together with the co-cheers by assessing their abilities and skills in a cheer audition?".
"I know that Liana, but I have my reasons. I have seen her practice and she could be a lot of help to you guys".
" Coach, I'm sorry but my co-cheers would wanna see what she got. I don't want to be mocked".
"They chose you, Liana, as captain".
"Not Adriana. Coach I'm tryin to be a leader here". Kim overhead them and interrupted ignoring the snorty glare from Liana.
" Ummm...sorry to interrupt...."
"We were in a middle of a very important conversation....!!!". Liana stated angrily.
"I think that was two seconds ago", kim retorted back nicely but with sarcasm as everyone turned to their direction murmuring. "Look miss captain, if you wanna see my dance moves, I don't mind sharing. All you have to do is ask and not make a meeting out of it. Oh and just so you know, I dance, not cheer".
