The evening ended the complete opposite of how I wanted it to go. I had to call a cab for me and Leah to get in. Keira and her had a dare that was try not to sing to the songs, if they sing they have to drink. Unsurprisingly, Leah lost so she got the most drunk and ended up almost collapsing on me. She asked for me to go the toilet with her before we left and almost threw up all over me but stopped.

The taxi ride back was stressful, Leah laying on me most of the ride while she said the most random stuff ever.

"Ahh ye, Mark that's right"

"Niamh, where Leah?"

"Leah, don't do that"

And that's not even half. Like who the fuck is Mark even. She sounded like a baby most the time and when we left she was about to give away her bank card. I snatched it out her hand and gave the money to the driver. I had to carry her most of the way to my house so I knew she was ok. She collapsed onto my bed before I could do anything.

"Niamh.... stay" I heard faintly as I was leaving the room. The door closes and i lean against the wall with my arms crossed.

"I've been looking after you all this evening, Leah. Can you not just do it yourself this time?" As soon as I said that, I felt sudden guilt. She looked into my eyes and laid back down, signalling for me to get in next to her. My beds a double bed with black covers so I went over to the other side of the bed and sat down.

"Niamh, I'm sorry but atleast you kept the promise" I turned around to see her looking at me. We kept eye contact and she gave me her warm, gentle smile. I lay back in bed and stare at the ceiling for what felt like eternity. I could feel Leah moving about until I finally heard snoring. I jumped out of bed and went downstairs. Upstairs, there was noises. Random noises. Almost like cries.

That night I slept on sofa with my old blanket that I kept wrapped around me. I got woken by Leah raiding my shelves in my kitchen on the look for some ibuprofen. I turned around and saw this. I burst out laughing.

"Whats so funny?" She said with a hint of laughter in her voice. "FOUND IT" I heard her say excitedly. I jumped up and saw her smiling at the ibuprofen.

"Hangover?"

"Probably" Still laughing. "Banging headache" I grab a glass and fill it up with cold water and pass it to her.

"Thanks" She says as she takes the medicine and drinks the freezing water. She then walks off into the living room and starts singing some of the lyrics from the songs that were blasting from the speakers in the pub.

"I wanna be with you everywhere"

"Why don't you come on over, Valerie"

As I was cleaning up, I heard a sudden shout.

"SWEET CAROLINE, DUN DUN DUNN" Fucking hell, she's got a terrible hang over.

"JESUS" I shouted. It was like I was back at Wembley.

"NIAMHHHHH" Why is she so giddy?!

"Mhm" I say as I go over to the living room where she is. Her blonde hair tied into a bun and ocean blue eyes looking at me. Fuckkkk. It was hard to not like her.

"You ok?" She smiled.

"Mhm, I'm just gonna have a shower. Stay here" I go upstairs and head into the bathroom.

After my shower, I go back downstairs in a retro Arsenal shirt with Henry on the back and dry my hair. I catch her eye straight away with the shirt (I am wearing shorts don't worry 😇).

"Take a picture, it lasts longer" I smirk, teasing a little but wasn't sure if she got it. A flash came from her phone. Smart move LW.

"Oopsies" A smirk covers her mouth. I laugh at this.

"Gonna put on some clean clothes?" I say as I go into the kitchen.

"Well the only clothes here are yours" Shit, she's right. I just nod and she goes upstairs, she guides herself to my room that she probably barely remembers after the night before. She comes downstairs in a new outfit that suits her quite well if I'm being honest.

"Looking good skipper" I smile.

"Well it's you that has the good dress sense" We both laugh at this comment.

A comfortable silence surrounded the room as Leah became familiar with her surroundings. As I'm cleaning up the kitchen after her mess looking for a bottle of ibuprofen. I could tell she probably doesn't live alone if she makes this type of mess.

"Oh Leah, my phone is on the sofa. Can you pass it to me?" At the point, I completely forgot about my lockscreen.

BELS NOTE:
