N walked into the classroom with Uzi, his metal frame emitting a mix of excitement and slight nervousness. The teacher, noticing their arrival, welcomed them.

"Oh, welcome. You must be N, our new student. Go introduce yourself to the class. That way I don't have to do it," the teacher lazily gestured toward the front of the room.

N stepped forward, his golden optics scanning the room filled with curious faces. With his usual cheerfulness and salute, he introduced himself, "Hey everyone! I'm N, and I'm really excited to be here."

As N spoke, a chorus of whispers and giggles rippled through the classroom. He remained oblivious, his focus solely on Uzi, who sat at the back, observing him with a mix of amusement and fondness.

After his introduction, the teacher prompted the class to pair up for a project. Uzi was assigned to work with Lizzy, and N found himself partnered with Darren, the boyfriend of Rebecca, the girl who keeps trying to get his hardware into her software. (She wants that USB type D)

Darren, clearly not happy about being paired with N, directed a disdainful look toward him. "Great, stuck with a murder drone," he muttered under his breath, loud enough for N to hear.

Uzi leaned against the table, her arms crossed, and a mischievous glint in her lavender optics. "We could do a project on how to apply eyeliner without poking your eye out. Something you know, so you can actually be useful," she teased, a smirk playing on her metallic lips.

Lizzy, unfazed by Uzi's teasing, rolled her eyes. "Or we could do something practical, like the history of fashion and its impact on societal norms," she suggested, flipping through a stack of reference books.

"Come on, drama queen. Not everything has to read like Barbie's autobiography," Uzi retorted playfully, poking fun at Lizzy's very pink style.

Lizzy shot back with a smirk. "Says the girl whose favorite color is the absence of it,"

Meanwhile, across the room, N and Darren grappled with their project, the tension palpable between them. Darren's hostility lingered in the air like a storm about to break.

N attempted to ease the tension, breaking the awkward silence. "So, um, do you have any ideas for the project?" he asked, attempting to strike up a conversation.

Darren shot him a scathing look, his tone dripping with disdain. "Yeah, how about the disassembly of worker drones? Seems like something you're pretty familiar with," he sneered, his animosity apparent.

N winced at the jab, trying to remain composed despite Darren's hostility. "I'm not really comfortable with that topic," he replied calmly, hoping to steer the conversation elsewhere.

But Darren persisted, his voice rising with a hint of malice. "Of course you're not now that you're 'tame'. Wouldn't want to remind yourself of the damage you've caused, sky demon."

Uzi glanced over, her expression shifting from playful banter to concern as she caught sight of the escalating tension between N and Darren. She shot a glance at Lizzy, silently signaling for her attention.

Lizzy, sensing the need to intervene, sauntered over to N and Darren, her confident stride belying the gravity of the situation. "Hey, boys, let's keep it civil. This project isn't about attacking each other," she interjected, her voice carrying a tone of authority.

"Tell that to him. You're pretty knowledgeable on that subject ain't ya?" Darren retorted, pointing a finger at N.

Uzi, never one to shy away from a confrontation, stepped closer. "Maybe you should get your head out of your ass, before I yank it out to make room for my boot," she shot back, her lavender optics flashing with a protective glint.
