Come On Everybody

The usual hum of the classroom fell into place as Uzi and N sauntered in, their metallic frames catching the fluorescent light in the room. Uzi's lavender optics scanned the room, searching for Thad. However, he was noticeably absent.

As the lesson kicked off, Uzi leaned over toward Lizzy, her curiosity piqued. "Hey, where's Thad today? Did he foot tangled up in his blankets again?"

Lizzy, flipping through a textbook, glanced up, her blonde hair framing her face as she shook her head. "Oh, it's his birthday. He's taking the day off to plan something for the weekend."

"His birthday?" Uzi's visor displayed a mix of surprise and realization. "That sneaky bot didn't mention a thing. What's he planning?"

Lizzy smirked, setting her book down. "Ah, a little birdie told me he's brewing up a grand party for the weekend. Apparently, he wanted me to personally extend the invitation to you and N before distributing the rest."

N tilted his head, intrigued. "A party? That sounds... interesting."

Uzi nudged N with an elbow, a mischievous glint in her optics. "Ooh, your first party. Looks like we get to ruin someone else's bedsheets this time."

N blushed and felt a little flustered at Uzi's implication. "Uzi, we can't do that to him,"

"Do what?" The goth replied with a smirk. "I was talking about spilling food. You're the one whose CPU is all dirty,"

As the class carried on, Uzi couldn't help but wonder what kind of shenanigans Thad had in store for his birthday bash. She mentally prepared herself for whatever chaos their friend had in mind, ready to dive headfirst into the celebration.

V's HUD flashed with an incoming call, indicating an unfamiliar number. Curiosity piqued, she accepted the call, her digital display illuminating with Thad's face.

"Hey, V! It's Thad," he greeted enthusiastically, a hint of excitement evident in his voice.

"Thad, what's up?" V replied, a small smile tugging at the corners of her metallic mouth. "You seem chipper."

"It's my birthday this weekend, and I'm throwing a little gathering," Thad explained, his tone tinged with anticipation. "I wanted to personally invite you before Lizzy hands out the rest of the invitations."

V's visor displayed a message from Lizzy about Thad's party, aligning perfectly with the call. "Ah, that's what Lizzy mentioned. Thanks for the invite!"

"I was wondering if you could swing by now to help me set things up," Thad continued, his excitement barely contained. "I've got a few ideas, but an extra pair of hands—well, claws, in your case—would be awesome!"

V glanced around the landing pod, assessing her schedule. "Sure thing, Thad. I'll head over in a bit. Consider me your extra set of... claws," she replied with a chuckle.

With that, Thad signed off, leaving V to quickly inform Lizzy of her plans before setting off to assist Thad in turning his birthday party into an event to remember.

The heavy door of Thad and Lizzy's house swung open with a confident push as V made her entrance. She stepped inside, exuding an air of unshakable confidence and authority that seemed to command attention in any room she graced.

In the spacious living room, Thad's friend group had already gathered, a diverse mix of personalities awaiting her arrival. Sam lounged on the couch, an easygoing aura surrounding him. Emily stood by a bookshelf, her nose buried in a thick tome, her curiosity evident in her wide-eyed fascination. Braidon sat near the window, his posture upright and attentive, the responsible figure among the group.
