Lucy's Pov

i'm standing next to Tim watching everyone dance he looks so handsome in his suit and he smells amazing all of a sudden his voice pulls me out of my imagination
Tim - you know you still owe me a dance
Lucy - there's not technically about it a debt is owed
tim holds his hand out and i take it the touch gives me butterflies he holds my hand on the way to dance
-gives the hole thing about work-
he spins me around being with him makes me really happy when he spins me i say
Lucy - ooo bradford a got moves
we both laugh and he pulls me back closer my hand goes to his chest the way he stares into my eyes i havent seen his eyes look this happy and there is this sparkle that makes me fall for him more than i already have
i take a risk i lay my head on his chest as we sway to the music i feel him rest his chin on my head a few minutes later i lift it back up my hand that was on his chest moves up to his neck with my heels on in still short compared to tim we both lean in and kiss his soft lips against mine is what i've been waiting for, for years
As we kiss we hear angela and nyla shriek we both pull away and look over to see everyone looking at us and all of a sudden nyla and angela say at the same time- OMG CHENFORD IS A THING- everybody started clapping grey had a huge smile on his face i out my head against tim's chest trying to hide my laughter
I see grey give angela and nyla money and i hear tim say
Tim - you bet on us seriously
i burst out laughing putting my head back on tim's chest to hide my laughter
everyone seemed to calm down and i felt tim lift my face up to look at him
Tim - luce you wanna come over to mine and hangout no expectations i promise
Lucy - ok yea but i can't drive i've had a few drinks
Tim - ill drive you i haven't drank
as we walk out tim's arm goes around my waist he's very protective as he guides me to his truck but before we could get far nyla angela and grey stop us
Grey - seriously guys i lost 200$ cause of yall
(pretend tim's already in metro so it's not a big deal)
Tim - ok we're leaving bye guys

i giggle and lean into tim

tim laughs a little when we get to his truck he opens the door for me and helps me in
Lucy - thank you
he goes to his side and gets in
i lean my head back and rub my temples in very lightweight when it comes to alcohol and can't drink much so my head is already pounding
tim gets in and asks..
Tim - are u ok?
Lucy - uhh no do you have advil my head is pounding
Tim opens his center console and hands me two advils and his water bottle i look over at him
Lucy - thank you
he reaches into the backseat and grabs his zip up metro hoodie that says metro on the front and bradford on the back he hands it to me
Tim - here i know you get cold
i out it on and it smells like him as we're on the way to his he holds my hand
he helps me out when we get to his
Tim - i'll get you sweatpants to change into
i change into a pair of tim's sweatpants and he gives me a diffrent metro hoodie it's the same thing in black but no a zip up i walk out to find him sitting on the couch in grey sweatpants and a black shirt i walk over to him and sit next to him
Tim- do you know how beautiful you are
he tucks a peace of hair behind my ear that's enough to almost break me i bring one hand to the back of his neck and pull him in to kiss me the kiss is full of love but it's not going any further he meant it when he said no expectations
When we pull away i settle into his arms that are tapped around me my legs over his lap he runs his hands down my legs
Tim - how's your head lulu
Lucy - better
i start to giggle
Tim - your even cuter when you've been drinking
Lucy - says you your just so hottttt
Tim - ok luce you should go to sleep
Lucy - i don't wanna go home thooo
Tim - i didn't say you have to go home sweetie you can stay here
i nuzzle further into him his arms tighten around me
as i drift to sleep i don't have any nightmares and i'm not scared for the first time since caleb
