ELIAS ACCIARDI hated a lot of things. Like his father, or when people chewed with their mouths open. It's disgusting. Or when you're talking with someone only to have someone else come and interrupt you like you weren't just talking. Elias hated that. But for some reason when Coriolanus did that Acciardi didn't seem to mind. It was like his tummy tingled whenever he heard him talk. He couldn't help the feeling but he also hated it because he doesn't like Snow. He is the President after all. Acciardi knows he's not the one that threw him into the games but he is the one that made the games 'better'. More entertaining.

So when Coriolanus invited him to have lunch with him, Elias agreed. Only to have him talk and talk and talk. Except Acciardi could listen to him for hours. He never talked much anyways. Always a listener.

"Oh, I forgot to mention. Ivy and Nariah have to leave back to their District. I've extended their stay because you asked. But now they have to go." Coriolanus sipped his tea while staring at Elias.

Acciardi didn't say anything. His eyes went a little wide, the fork he was holding is now placed on his plate as he wiped his mouth with napkin. "I'm sorry?" He asked a confused.

"They have to leave, Elias." A laugh escaped Acciardi's mouth once Snow talked. Like if the whole thing was funny.

Snow frowned. "I don't appreciate being laughed at." He leaned back in his chair watching Elias.

"I'm not laughing at you. I'm laughing at what you said." He quickly tried to give an excuse.

"That's laughing at me." Coriolanus narrowed his eyes at him while crossing his arms over his chest.

"No it's not. You don't know what it's like being laughed at." Elias spat out now getting irritated.

"How do you know that?" Snow almost yelled out. Then, "I know how you think, Elias." Coriolanus suddenly yelled. "I saw that look in your eyes when you murdered those people. You cannot tell me otherwise!" His hands slammed on the table. Elias stayed quiet while looking away from him.

He suddenly lost all of his appetite. Not wanting to eat anymore. Snow has no idea how he felt in that moment. He has no idea how he felt everyday after that. The guilt that surrounded him, clouded his head for days on end. How he stayed in his room for weeks after because he was so scared he was going to hurt someone. His mother begging for him to come out and at least eat something. Coriolanus will never know because he lives in the Capital where nothing bad happens. Where you live your life knowing you have meals everyday.

"You have no idea how I felt." Elias suddenly spoke loudly. His eyes looked up to met Coriolanus's finally.

"Yes I do because the same thing happened to me." A pause. "You have no idea how many times I didn't know if I was going to have a full meal. I might've been in the Capital but that didn't mean I had the luxury of being in the Capital."
