Pokémon Lockdown Episode 2: Champion Cassie Maru

FADE IN:

INT. PR Warehouse Lobby Room – Night

In the warehouse, Gen and Cassie waited in the lobby like space. Gen observes Twil eating her berries, while Cassie anxiously taps her foot on the couch, concerned for her pokémon. Gen glances at her, feeling slightly annoyed by the tapping, and lets out a sigh.

GEN

"Look, your pokémon is fine. Joyce is still a Joy, after all. So, she knows what she's doing."

Gen tells her as he leans back in the chair he was sitting on.

CASSIE

"Getting my pokémon healed up in an abandoned warehouse does not help calm my nerves. Seriously, things couldn't get worse today.

She places her hands over her face as she feels completely ashamed of this.

GEN

"So, you're a pokémon champion, right? What brought you all the way out here, anyway?"

Gen changes the topic. He was curious how someone so famous ended up here, of all places. Cassie lifted her head to look at Gen. She has been through a lot today, so perhaps talking to someone will help ease her mind.

CASSIE

"Well, it all started when I was just informed about the Pokémon League Regional Championship."

CUT TO:

INT. Pokémon Elite Four Championship Arena – Flashback

At Unova, Cassie was just leaving the arena as the roaring crowd chanted her name.

ANNOUNCER

"Ladies and gentlemen, champion Cassie Maru has just won this battle and still keeps her title as Unova's Pokémon champion! It seems like no one can take her and her powerful team down."

The announcer commented as Cassie had just given an outstanding performance as she defended her title once again as champion. She headed to her private room to have a moment to rest along with her team.

CUT TO:

INT. Pokémon Elite Four Championship Room – Flashback

CASSIE

"Good work out there, guys. We managed to pull through this month of challengers. We had a couple of close calls, but we pulled through. You guys are all going to be treated well at a nice fancy Pokémon center resort."

Cassie said to her, Pokémon contained in their pokéballs. Once inside her room, she set her Pokémon down on a table and gave an enormous sigh as she fell back and lay on the comfortable couch nearby.

CASSIE

"What a day."

Soon, Cassie was receiving a call from her Xtransceiver. When answering, it was from her agent.

LYNN

"Hey ya, Champ. How are you holding up after defending your title once again?"

The black hair, square glasses lens-wearing woman asked Cassie.

CASSIE

"Exhausted. But it's nice to hear from my favorite agent. So, what's with the call, Lynn?"

Cassie talked to her while she was walking to grab herself a soda from the mini fridge inside the room.

LYNN

"I got big news for you, girl. Some people from the Pokémon League organization just called me. And they want to have you come over and take part in this year's Pokémon League Regional Championship!"
