"Good evening, Solitaire City, and the world outside the island. I'm Wendy Interview."

CARTER

"I'm Cater Scoop. And we're here to give you the latest news and updates of our great city. Over the past 5 months the city has been going through some major changes. The new police force department managed by Juggernaut Bulk has been doing very well. Crime is at an all-time low as Captain Bulk and his fellow officers have been busting out any criminal activities throughout the city."

WNEDY

"In other news, retired turf leader Spear the Dragon Master has now decided to take up the performance scenes, as he now will be participating in pokémon contests. A man with so much bravado as him, surely will bring in some amazing skills."

CARTER

"For attractions and entertainment, the new relax parlor run by Reggie and Lora Chill has recently opened a bed and breakfast service. If ever need to relieve some stress be sure to stop by as Reggie's Weezing's psychedelic mist will melt them away all day. Then you can party all night at the local Nightcare run by Madame Tifa. Attractive pokémon get a drink discount."

WENDY

"If you're in more of a gambling mood. Our casino is just the place for you to play games and win prizes. Their latest new game tiebreakers, will surely be the one that will make or break you."

CARTER

"Lastly, Mayor Paulmer has been working diligently to expand connections with other regions to help Solitaire City and the good people. Ever since the arrest of previous mayor, Evolnort. The city has been rebuilding and improving like never before. We welcome all newcomers to visit our island. This has been Solitaire cities news and updates. I'm Carter Scoop."

WENDY

"And I'm Wendy Interview and we will see you next time."

INT. Kanto Region Prison – Day

A couple of guards were watching the news segment that just played.

MALE COP 1

"Man, Solitaire city sounds like it's becoming an interesting place. That relaxing place definitely got me interested."

MALE COP 2

"I'm curious what that Nightcare place is like. Sounds like a real good time. Might have to make a vacation there when I can."

Intercut Prison Area

MALE COP 1 (V.O)

"I can't believe we're withholding their ex-mayor. Didn't think we have ourselves a celebrity criminal."

Evolnort was sitting in his jail cell.

Cut back to Office Room

MALE COP 2

"I heard things about that guy. He's definitely a sicko I tell you that. Only reason he isn't put in the chair is because they don't have a lot of concrete evidence on it."

The conversation would be interrupted as other cops begin to rush out to somewhere.

MALE CAOP 3

"Hey! We need back up outside immediately!"

A cop rush in informing the two other officers.

MALE COP 1 (CONFUSED)

"What the hell's going on?"

MALE COP 3

"We're being attacked. It seems to be one person, but he's taking out our guys easily. Just come on and help!"

The two cops would follow him.

CUT TO:

Prison Area

Evolnort could hear the commotion that was happening outside. The sounds of screams and orders being shouted. After a while silence soon came. Then the door to the prisoner room would open and footsteps would slowly approach till they stopped at Evolnort's cell.

EVOLNORT

"I've never would have expected to see you again. I thought you hated me just like the others. Perhaps you're here to kill me? Number 7 tried but couldn't do it. But you're better than him. Aren't you, number 1?"

Evolnort smiled looking at Mello who was staring at him along with his Zangoose.

MELLO

"The pokémon bonding link. I have questions about it."

EVOLNORT

"As do I. But all I can tell you is that the link is a connection that is made between a pokémon and a human with a strong emotional bond. Mainly by the love of one another."

He then noticed the change to Mello's Zangoose. It had black and blue instead of its usual red and white with his sharp claws now purple.

MELLO

"I figured as much. That's how my Haxorus managed to evolve even beyond. But what about hatred."

Evolnort had looked interested upon hearing that.

"This Zangoose and I despise one another, yet he works with me because he wants to get stronger and survive. Allowing him to change into this. You obviously would like to know if there's any difference between this and that of what you've already seen."

EVOLNORT

"True as that may be, but why are you really you here?"

MELLO

"Because I want you to help me get stronger. To make me the best trainer out there."

EVOLNORT

"Number 1, with this discovery. You'll be the best trainer like no one ever was."

MELLO

"We'll see abut that..."

Mello steps back to allow Zangoose to slash at the bars and easily cut them like butter.

ZERO

"Oh and by the way. Call me Zero."

EVOLNORT

"Understood, my boy."

Evolnort gets up and walks out of his cell. They begin to walk out of the police station, walking by all the bodies that Zero took out.
