Jealousy

I walk into the restaurant and hear laughter.

I hear Himeno-san say something, but I can't understand until I get closer.

"Every newbie here has been kissed by her," someone else jokes.

"I don't care, I still want it," wait, was that Denji~kun?

I take off my shoes at the stairs and walk up to the table.

Kneeling down behind the table, Himeno-san looks up at me, "What kiss?"

Denji~kun jumps like he always does when I talk to him unannounced.

It's almost kind of...cute?

"Pardon me, I'll have whatever's on tap," I call to the bartender as I sit down.

"Makimaaaa~..." Himeno-san drunkenly greets me.

Denji's blushing a lot, but I know how to make him blush more.

"Are you actually going to kiss anyone Denji~kun?" I ask him.

"Of course not!" he defends instantly.

"Ehhh? Denji, you're not going to kiss me?~" Himeno-san gives a fake pout.

"Of course I am!" he immediately comes back.

Why is he going to kiss her?

Why does it bother me?

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

2 hours later, the table is covered in beer mugs.

Even Denji~kun has snuck a few drinks.

"Denjiiiiiii~, time for your kissssss," Himeno-san leans over and pulls him into it.

They're actually kissing.

"Oh?" I whisper, and while my face doesn't show anything, I certainly feel...odd.

There are so many things I want to say at that moment.

Yet I only let them come to me in thought.

I don't like you touching him.

He's looking over at me, embarrassed.

He doesn't want me to see.

It's really pathetically adorable.

It should be me.

Himeno-san still isn't letting go.

I deserve to be his first.

It's getting more aggressive.

He better not be enjoying her.

He's mine.

Get your fucking hands off of my Denji~kun.

All of a sudden Himeno-san begins to vomit.

Down his throat.

It snaps me out of my own mind.

Out of instinct a smirk reaches up to my face.

It drags me away from some stupid thoughts about Denji~kun.

Whatever, I already forgot.

I look over at the bartender, "Excuse me, we're going to need some napkins here."
