A loud gunshot echoed through the air, followed by a scream: 'FUCK...' The three of them rushed towards the sound and found Aditya lying on the floor, blood oozing from his arm where the bullet had hit him.
With a weak gesture, he pointed in the direction Avinash had fled. But instead of chasing after him, the trio stayed put, focusing on getting Aditya medical attention.
Aayansh had already briefed Alaya on the situation, and she quickly sprang into action.
She had her college mates in Jaipur, and they were able to make the necessary arrangements.
Alaya instructed them to bring Aditya directly to her friend's hospital, emphasizing that operating on him in a normal room wouldn't be safe.
With a plan in place, they swiftly moved Aditya to the hospital, hoping to save his life.
She headed to the hospital, which was conveniently close to the palace. Aayansh had always been open with her, but he had deliberately kept Avinash's presence in Jaipur a secret, not wanting to upset her before their wedding. However, the current situation was unlikely to work in his favor.
Yuvaan broke the silence, "Aayansh, what will we tell the Princess?" Aayansh replied, "I'll handle it." But Yuvaan pressed on, "We need a solid answer. She'll definitely ask questions." Aayansh nodded thoughtfully.
"Maybe we can tell her that Aditya was shot by one of our business rivals," Yuvaan suggested.
Aayansh sighed, "But she might get suspicious." Yuvaan countered, "I don't think so. She knows about the many enemies we have." Rudra clenched his teeth in anger, "That bastard is indeed our enemy."
Aayansh murmured in agreement, still worried about the situation and its consequences.
He knew that their explanation might not be entirely truthful, but it was the best they could come up with under the circumstances.
Yuvaan offered a reassuring tap on Aayansh's shoulder, accompanied by a supportive glance. Aayansh nodded in response, feeling a sense of gratitude for his friend's understanding.
Upon arriving at the hospital, they found Alaya already there, her expression a mix of concern and determination. She had arranged for one of her trusted doctor friends to meet them, and had briefed him on Aditya's condition, thanks to Aayansh's earlier explanation.
With swift efficiency, they whisked Aditya away to the pre-arranged operation theatre.
Alaya instructed everyone to wait outside, her focus solely on her best friend's well-being. For now, questions could wait; Aditya's health was the priority.
Alaya and her friend began the operation, administering anesthesia to ensure Aditya felt no pain.
They meticulously cleaned and dressed his wound, administering necessary medications to stabilize his condition.
The operation theatre door swung open, and Alaya emerged, followed by Samarth. "Aditya's condition is stable now. He needs rest. You can take him once he regains consciousness," Samarth explained.
